I was there at the beginning. I loved running (yes running, not flying) around Metropolis and Gotham, but then, like he said, you abandon them for the CR grind. Not for me. Large explorable Coast City, Central City, etc should have been the way to go, IMO.
Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of fun to be had, but the focus of pushing small-group instance content rather than an exploreable DC Universe pushed me out.
Grats on 10 years though. I did log in and create a new character for the CR290 upgrade, but I doubt I'll do anything with it.

    Great interview, well done.

I'm kinda like Lantern above, liked my speedster the most, and while the leveling part is fun, then the CR grind kicks in...

Just like Scott I never used any of the CR boosts either, but grabbed this last one as well with a login, since why not. I rather just slog ahead with my alt on those occasions I go back to the game.

Fire flight, ice slide - fortunately Jack knows those well enough from the CO days :)

Really cool to see an MMO being lead by a person that's a super fan of the genre the IP is based on. He's not just some suit in it for the money only.

In fact I'm going to sit down (figuratively) in the near future with Jack and just talk about comic books as an interview. :-)

I'd read that, for sure. Nice article. I'd love to hear more on the rumors about the Marvel license as I hadn't heard any rumors at all. :)

This was a very detailed interview. Kudos on this in depth interview very well done. Really enjoyed reading his insights. He seems to genuinely love superheroes and villains. I think he is perfect for the job.
