  I might remind people that even though they are outlining a restoration plan and focussing on that... the issue causing the inventorywipes is not even solved yet and every few seconds a few hundred players lose their inventory still. So... unless you dont value your gear I would not recommend playing untill its actually fixed.

  Well its still a very good game. And there's been what I understand already a few glitches in the game where you could farm gear easily... so all those gear thats now are gone hasnt been farmed that hard. Right?

  Ouch! That's one hell of a bug for a game that depends so heavily on gear like all looters do.

  I'd want an email, if I was affected & loss everything, stating my gear would be restored as if or even a bit better as compensation. If not willing, I'd be immediately requesting a refund since they seem reluctant to guarantee anything like items or even window of time of transaction. Is this Outriders officially released or is it still in a testing-phase? This is definitely not a good selling point for any potential buyer of the game. lol

  I feel there is more to this than what they are letting on.So these save state files become corrupted i guess not unlike the Cyberpunk ordeal where file size was maxed and would corrupt the files on write overs.
  
  I thought about writes and dumps but nothing made sense.So the very obvious seems to point to the serialization process and how the byte stream is somehow corrupted or not reconstructing the code properly.
  I was originally sold on the idea someone changed the ID tags or created identical tags similar to what happened within Cyberpunk.
  I do think it has to do with serialization and not the ID tags,the only two ideas i can think of.

  Where did all the people go that said outriders was gonna be the next big game. This is pretty bad, I would expect A LOT of people getting refunds especially the people who put way too many hours into the game just have their gear poof with no real timetable on when they will gt it back or even if it will be the same gear with the same stats they had in the first place.
