Not as weird as Gameforge and B2P.

Class areas?  Places to play mini-games and "try out new rotations on the training dummies"?  Why does this sound like action combat?

This class area concept might be a marvelous idea, a place for learning.  But the spectre of action combat is going to drive away as many people as it attracts.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

It's a Chinese thing. Like in Chinese Manga / Novels where they go through different stages of "Enlightment". Similar to how in Age of Wushu the more you cultivate your inner strength (get experience) over time the higher your rank rises. Similar, just not straight up tied to levels.

Also the number 4 is considered bad luck. So most games don't go past lvl 30's.

Looking forward to this game, to be honest.

Suspicious of Gameforge, for sure. But it does look very good, many QoL things, mini games and stuff to do outside the raid/dungeons/pvp cycle.

Also, the developer does look to be good. I mean, to keep a game not P2W in China for as long as this game is out there, that is something...

I will give this game an honest shot. If it turns out bad, I do believe $40 was a fair price for the possibility of a good new game. There is enough good signs to at least give this game the benefit of doubt, in my opinion.
