Are you a developer? You talk about “we” this and “we” that so I assume the answer is yes,
He's either a Dev or a PR Shill. Since his account creattion 6 months ago the only posts he has made have been to praise the game.
Thanks For checking me out! I'm pretty straight forward being genuine in my communication and connections. Hey check this outstanding Immersive MMO game Mortal Online 2 https://www.mortalonline2.com/ **Limited Access Only**
You didn’t answer the question though. Are you in any way associated with StarVault as anything other than a customer?
Even if you were HONESTLY testing the game, you would still have a hard time obtaining the answer to this question you are curious about.. There are many Developers, Pro gamers and testers frequenting Mortal Online 2. I recommend to join the Community, start networking globally and testing, (step out of your comfort zone take a shower and get refreshed) MO2 is a way different experience than MO1. We are advancing and optimizing with the REPUTATION SYSTEM as the NEW flagging system. What you thought you may have known about Mortal Online has got a complete upgrade. Even the little fun we had with stress testing thousands of people FOR 3 WEEKS didn't give justice to the current discovery of the Content in MO2. Remember its Beta Testing, lay your mortar and brick with this outstanding MMO!! https://www.mortalonline2.com/
"You would you have a hard time obtaining the answer to that question", you said. Its a straight forward question ...are you a Dev...Yes/No....Are you a working for them as a representative of their PR team...Yes/No
That seems pretty easy to me, if you were as straight forward as you claim. Yet your actions speak exactly the opposite.

It got a complete update in 2 weeks? Damn... that’s amazing.
My honest take is that if it was so great, then all those people that supposedly were part of the stress test would have scooped up these “limited” closed beta keys you keep pushing. The fact that you keep pushing these “limited keys” for the past 5 days and they are still available tells me all I need to know.
The reputation system I have discussed previously, MaDeuce actually does a poor job describing it (not really a PvP flagging system that we come to know of... it is murder/criminal system and regional reputation system... everyone is still pvp enabled).
This content was held out of the stress test and is patched in to the beta.
Also interesting, ARPK guilds are quite powerful on the server(probably the most powerful)... these are Anti Random Player Killing guilds. They put players and whole guilds on KOS (kill on sight) for randomly killing players. Basically, enforcers to prevent harrassment/ganking/griefing of players and to make sure the game grows. They patrol and respond very fast.
Finally, due to the layout of MO2 topography and ARPK guild response time... it is very difficult for gankers to gank and run away... or hide.
So this will not be the pure gankfest everyone assumes.
I will not pay to test (my policy), but if there is another free event or invite, I'll give it a go.

Good on you! Give it a try. If you feel like purchasing later a Closed Beta testing or even wanting to wait it is your choice, way to pave independent thinking for the MMORPG community. Yes, there is a poor connection between a few people constantly responding to this thread with negativity but its not because of the information being passed by me as I choose not to engage back being negative. If you didn't get a direct answer from me its probably because I reserve the right to engage with caution. I recommend for everyone to do so its an unhealthy pattern they are projecting. Hopefully someone catches on to their to put it lightly, Trolling.
In MO2 thick skin is defined as how you present yourself not how you take advantage or get took advantage of. GREAT COMMUNITY TO JOIN!!
The reputation system is built, constantly updated by MO2 Developers and Testing community. Two parts to the reputation system are AI & Community. Based off the data collected in both areas the developers along with testing community are able to establish a unique relationship with AI and Community players. Harmonizing everyone together with fundamental structure is essential in order to establish the baseline for content and creative activities. The Al portion of reputation system controls what a player can do in guarded towns while the Community part in the reputation system controls the players conduct either restricting or allowing things and or discovery to happen. Example of this would be if you decided to kill guards off in a town.. You would no longer be unliked but most likely hated and attacked in said name area unless you have some sort of connections established. Everyone has a reputable playstyle even the AI. If this interests you, please consider joining "Closed Beta Testing" soon rather than later. You will get VIP access towards hint and secrets as well as a enlightened understanding of how to play MO2 friendly with everyone.
Why are people saying that it is not ready for launch when every stream and video that I have watched seemingly played out flawlessly.. no "bugs" or whatever that I had noticed?
If there is housing along with full-loot pvp than wouldn't that be close to ready? I mean I guess maybe they want more PVE in the game or something? I haven't played it so please give me an explanation as to why its not nearly ready yet as so many have said?
I mean MO wasn't as fleshed out when it was released as this one is... right?
When do you think that this game will be done with the beta and released?

You understand the last stress test was a disaster.. again it was a stress test, but it did have limited keys. People could not login for days.

Most important for me and others on the sidelines, there are a lot of systems and content that need to be hashed out before launch.
-Dungeons have no content yet (the interiors look cool)
- world is still pretty barren with pve mobs (it's never supposed to be like a theme park, but you can walk hours without running into anything)
- building... haven't seen too much on this front, really important
- Combat needs a lot of love
- Magic is still under major development
- reputation system and faction system still under development
Etc... etc...
Don't launch a half baked game, get it right... feels like it needs 9-12 months in the oven to me (at least).

All that said, this still seems like the most developed and fun/playable of the indie/kickstarter mmos I have seen to date. I was pretty amazed at some of the streams I have seen of it.
