In his first update as game director of Overwatch, Aaron Keller confirmed that players will get a glimpse at Overwatch 2 later this month. Coming on May 20th, the team will be focusing on the PVP elements of the upcoming sequel to their 2016 hit.

    I think it will .. flop, unless the changes are extremely well done.

    I think Overwatch 2 generated as much interest as Diablo Immortal.

    Everything about this seems like an expansion pack and update patches rather than a new game.

    you do understand you don't actually have to buy it, unless you want the PvE part, right?

    Well yea.  No one is forced to buy expansion packs.  Not directly at least.  Indirectly, maybe if it does something to pvp, I guess, but this expansion pack is supposed to be a pve thing.

    ......which makes me wonder why "the team will be focusing on the PvP elements of the sequel" on May 20th.
