Played this alot its first 3 years still pop in .. really great game , unless you are a graphics whore ..

But the immersion of Grand combat and strategy to win a map are real , takes a vast amount of teamwork .. where everyplayer can find there niche
This update looks great , ill be checking it out for sure

I played it back when it first came out 20 years ago. Had to choose between WW2 ONLINE and Star Wars Galaxies. Chose SWG. Did play it about five or six years ago as well. I think it is a fun game IF you can play with a lot of players as a team. Solo, not so much. Fun solo but not so much.

I took a look at it a couple of times...Do they actually have enough players to make this work on such a grand scale?

I tried it a few years ago, but if I remember correctly, I was dropped somewhere and had no idea what was happening or what I was supposed to do.  Everyone around me seemed to know what they were doing, and we're busy doing those things and nobody to help a noob get his feet.  I really like the concept cthough

I'm not a fan of WW1/2 shooters, but as long as they have a loyal playerbase good luck to them. I hope their transition to UE4 is fast, relatively painless and makes the players happy.

    Such a wasted game.

It's really fun and immersive but incredibly huge learning curve and not new player friendly.

The worse part is the sub. It was expensive, and even with this change its just not worth it...

Maybe if they let free players do anything other than be a private rifleman I'd get into it.

The learning curve was fairly steep, and I admit that I really like the concept, but you guys nailed it, gotta get invovled with a squad, both to learn the ropes, and to really enjoy the game. That's a mistake that I made, I didn't do those things, and as a result didn't really enjoy my experience there.

I'd kinda forgotten about it, but may have to add it to my list of things that I could give a another try to when I'm bored or have some free time.
