Square Enix kicked off their showcase today during E3 2021 with their upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game. The single player adventure game will also reportedly not feature any microtransactions or even DLC for that matter.

My last 3 fave games FFXI,Atlas and Valheim NONE had any microtransactions.Along the way i really enjoyed playing the Dishonored series, again no microtransactions.
HOWEVER,now the part i have been mentioning over and over. The ONLY reason we see games adding an online multiplayer feature with login is to facilitate a cash shop/seasons pass whatever.
SO since this game is just a single player game then obviously we will see no cash shop. You can bet 100% if this had online features it would have a cash shop and or seasons pass.
You can also bet ANY game Blizzard releases will have microtransactions and that has long been the difference between the two giants, one is very scummy and the other ,well a little less scummy.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Marvel isn't declining either, and neither is Disney. Their stock has nearly tripled in price these days than 5 years ago when they were at the height of the MCU in the midst of setting up end game.
I have more than anecdotes. I don't care about looking at disney's relationships in China. It doesn't have any relevance to your incorrect statement that "marvel" is on the decline, or that Guardians is a "cash grab".
Eh.....this really depends on what you play from them. FFXIV nickles and dimes the ever-loving crap out of people that 'choose' to pay extra and this is still the same company that did the Deus Ex Mankind Divided MtX (not just the 'choose your pre-order' junk that got shotdown, but the actual live MtX too, like purchasable consumables being tied to game saves).
But even EA can be redeemed since they put out Fallen Order, so maybe this can be the same.
