I definitely won't be playing this, Bethesda team worked on Fallout 76 with other teams and Bethesda was the one who showed it off with promises and it was a disaster.
"It's also a bit more hardcore of a roleplaying game than we've done," Howard said to The Telegraph. "It's got some really great character systems—choosing your background, things like that. We’re going back to some things that we used to do in games long ago that we felt have really let players express the character they want to be."
Todd Howard talking about the game being a bit more hardcore...
I have a feeling we're going to experience the settlement system from Fallout 4 all over again... Hope I'm wrong and there will be something more interesting going on with this game.
I bet Todd thinks this statement is a hype-inducing great thing to say but for me it has the opposite effect. "Skyrim in space" is not a phrase that excites me about Strafield at all.

Sure, sure. Hey, I'm gonna go put a "2" sticker on my neighbors rickety old AMC Gremlin. Then it'll be "new" too!
It's not new engine.
But comparing it to adding stickers is even more ridiculous. Large engine improvement between games like this means they're redoing the parts they aren't happy with, and just keep the old design where they are happy with it. Companies keep working designs all the time cause it makes no sense to spend design resources to ponder whether the wheels on this year's car model should be round like they were on the old AMC Gremlin.

Holy crap! That's exactly the 1st thing that came to my mind...."so, it's not gonna be worth playing until modders get a hold of it?"
Sums it up just perfectly. xD
They are really doubling down on "16 times the detail"

Bring on Skywind
Considering the frequent complaints that ESO isn't Skyrim enough, people seem to be up for more of that.
