Guess by the time I'll buy it most bug will be fixed.
Seriously though this is one of the reasons I mostly play titles that are at launch + 1 year. The other being that by then you can predict the dlc cycle and decide if they are likely to put any more out.
or you guys could check how mods are going for this game?
if they fixed bethesda games, I don't see how hard would be for then to fix this one
Mod fixes for Bethesda's games are kind of an oddity, because Bethesda provides players with really effective toolkit for making changes. Normal games don't get that level of bugfixes by community because without the tools it's too hard and time-consuming to do that much fixing.
Fixes >MORE quests, pretty much sums up the lack of care on release, just whip it out and make your millions.
They never got a dime from me,i need more than lights and a GTA knockoff and some Ray tracing advertising.

GOTY versions are my normal buy in points, at least for single player games.

If they have not released a dlc by then you can just pick it up. If they have you may find it was just cosmetics etc so again no proper content is on the way pick it up. If there has been a decent proper dlc then it gets tricky, but it is easy enough to just leave it on the Wishlist. With so many titles on the wishlist its hardly a race, wait and see.
I’ll wait until 2022 - guess it’ll be in decent shape by then. That is when the devs said they’d be done with the game - so let’s see if they can make a stable, more fleshed out experience
I am also on hold on this one, despite having been a Cyberpunk tabletop player. On the bug/stability side they seem to be on the right track. I am especially waiting for the more fleshed out experience. Maybe that will come with the modding community.

That's how i've been buying Ubisoft games for a while now. As for online only games i usually wait for the cheapest discounts since those can shut down and waste my money.

Runs great with no content in a world that feels lifeless.

First they'll release a "complete edition". Pass.
Then they'll do graphics abd other upgrades through a "director's cut" Pass.
Then the retail price will normalize around $25. Pass.
Then either Steam or a key shop will have 85% + off of that price. Purchase. See ya in 2023, CP2077.
