With few exceptions, E3 2021 was a major letdown. This shouldn't really come as a surprise, what with COVID complicating development for games across the industry. It hasn't been an easy year for anyone, so I truthfully wasn't expecting much more than what we got. That said, there were still a couple of notable games for me, so let's dive in.

That Todd Howard dude turned me off and the speeches they gave were lol sad patronizing BS.
Starfield was hyped without having ANYTHING to show us so you can tell how marketing drives these games to higher popularity than they deserve. You can bet that if Starfield had anything good to show us they would but they don't so it is better to keep the hype alive until later.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

"Another big time flop" lol because all of Bethesda's games have been huge failures. Right... ok bub.
Cyberpunk was a success. It's also a still-burning trash fire. And if he means that Starfield will be the next Cyberpunk, I could very much see that happening.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
This has me excited. Loved Suikoden.I self identify as a monkey.

Between this and Dark Deity, I actually prefered the indie game launches to the AAA reveals this year. And that's baffling to me, because I'm not a hipste-... I mean indie gamer.

You know Metroid Samus' Return released only a few years ago for 3DS, right?
Also, the Battlefield trailer... ehhhhhhhhhhhhh... it just looks like all the other Call of Duty and Battlefield clones; i.e. the same as its predecessors.
That was just a remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus. It's been 19 years since Nintendo released a NEW 2D Metroid.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
