Shortly after an information overload from the Marvel Press Tour last week, Netmarble ended up soft-launching Marvel Future Revolution on Android for Canadian residents only. After grinding my way close to max level over several days, here's 10 helpful tips that you should know if you're thinking about playing MFR when it launches globally later this year.

Nice overview. I'll probably wait until global release with SOLO coming up next Friday.

i gave this game a go and so far i enjoy it, its got a patrol mode similar to marvel heroes and a really cool customization system. i dont like the heavy monetization system but thats to be expected for a mobile game, it also runs like crap on emulators. thank you for reading.

I'll wait for global release. Hoping this scratches the Marvel Heroes itch.

It's beyond sad that the state of online superhero games is so shite that people are actually looking forward to a mobile game just to have something.

And... I'm part of the problem. I miss you, Marvel Heroes.

This looks pretty good. It's no Marvel Heroes, but it threads the needle between a few different kinds of games I tend to like.

I'd play the shit out of this if it was on PC.

Sounds like a great game... With a monetization plan that is utter cancer. Going to do a hard pass on it, especially as i know they have a nasty habit of "calibrating" the system if they think you might actually earn stuff at a proper rate...

They can piss right up a creek...

And yes i know this is a losing battle, because the next generation of gamers have been raised on this from day one... But i will be that screaming old man they drag out when it comes to this issue.

These days an announcement of a new "Marvel" title raises the same lack of enthusiasm or interest in me as another Friday the 13th or Halloween sequel would.....

    Toss in the mobile factor

Probably gonna have to wait for Windows 11 for that then.

Speaking of which, anyone know when systems might be shipping with Win 11 on them.

Was over at Best Buy yesterday and their thinking was this fall perhaps.

Around the official announcement time, there were some press images that showed an October 20th release date for W11. But since Microsoft didn't officially announce that, it's probably more of an internal goal that got prematurely leaked. edit to add: and unless there's an option NOT to use a Microsoft account for login, I'll be sticking with W10 for a good long while.

The only thing anyone needs to know about this is that it's a mobile game.

I’m sorry to be a downer, but this just seems like a typical auto play mobile mmo with Marvel skins.

It literally plays itself... You're paying hundreds of dollars to watch a character follow an auto path and spam abilities. Unreal... I hate this planet. People are so **** dumb and lazy they can't even play their own games anymore.

    They aren't, actually.

They are all far superior to what this game provides, and I have personal playtime with it on which to base my opinion. It was released in Canada some time ago.

Marvel Heroes was great, also far more so than this game.

You can control the character, both in movement and combat.

Dr. Strange, and likely other characters similarly able, can fly at your whim and can change elevation to a degree while doing so. You are able to manually attack all targets in range, whatever their relative elevation.

It's more than the typical autoplay mobile game, but still far less than a PG game based on the same premise could be.
