I had the same thought but lets be honest is gameforge, the game sadly will die in around 6 or 7 months.
Yep, Lost Ark is fantastic from what i tested in the Technical Alpha. I'm afraid SOLO is just going to end up eventually being lost within the confines of mediocre mmo's like most of what these EU game publishers peddle these days.
To be fair, it's not that popular in China, so i don't know how well it's going to do over here.

This is a very weird design choice that will scare a lot players away but I still think this game might find its niche, if only for it's fresh and unfamiliar setting. But from what I've played so far it is still way better then stuff Revalation, Astellia, Bless etc. and I doubt this is going to die as fast a some might claim here.
They didn't make themselves a favour with the demo knowing that all you do till lvl 15 is running from npc zu npc with like 90% walking/talking (storystuff) and 10% fighting
I am glad its b2p instead of p2p. I understand those who played demo and didnt like it .. I had same feeling when I tried TW version to lvl 15 .. Tbh, game is fun after reaching max lvl.
You can easily do max lvl in 12-15 hrs, so I think its acceptable.
And how lots of you typed here .. Game dies in 6 months .. So, still its worth of 40 $
