It's time again for Steam's summer sale. Due to some cosmic oversight, I found myself with $50 in my gaming budget this year. So, I splurged. But in a semi-fiscally responsible, bargain bin kind of way.
- Plebby Quest: The Crusades ($10.99, -45%) - a cute game about one of the most brutal times in history, the Crusades. So far, I'm working my way through the tutorial and enjoying it very much. The interface is full of humor, and the game play is surprisingly deep. The quirky art style is growing on me. Diplomacy, Religion, Research, Combat, plus Kingdom development.
- Thea 2: The Shattering ($12.49, -%50) - Survival village builder and sequel to the the first Thea. Filled with quirky humor and some well written narrative. Plus, it lets you indulge yourself in random mayhem. When you come across a demon that you think might be a "treasureboy that if you hit it with a stick it might drop some coins", it actually gives you the option to hit it with a stick and see what happens. Slavic humor. Plus, it's a tough game. I'd be further along already, except for Plebby Quest.
Now, I've got an extra $20 burning a hole in my pocket. So many to choose from. The problems I create for myself.
So, what's your haul this year? (Bonus points if your favorite title has a colon in it).

'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

Gloomhaven? There is a Gloomhaven PC game? I know that Iron Harvest is pretty close to Scythe, but Gloomhaven?

Can or will it be playable solo? Or do you need other players?
I also got Aseprite and RPG Maker 2003. These weren’t even on my radar. Steam just recommended them to me.
I also preorded the entire Final Fantasy pixel remaster bundle too so I’ll have some inspiration
Regardless, I'll keep an eye on Gloom. See what's what.
