New World is continuing its ramp towards its beta later on this month, this time showing off its PvPvE mode, Outpost Rush. This mode sees teams of 20 go head to head to fight over outposts, seeking to crush your enemies for total victory.

Hell I am sure there will be lots of streamers trying it out so will likely watch a few streams on it.....
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
There's no reason not to pre-order, play the 2 week beta and then refund if you don't like what you experienced first hand.
It's as risk free a way to know for sure if it's your kind of game or not as there is.
Or you can watch streams instead I suppose

I see this as a game of mini games with no real definition or type of game.I am not looking for a world of mini games,i want to reside in a game where it feels like a realistic world and not just a bunch of mini games.
If this is your gig,a bunch of pvp mini games you might find they did a good job with that type of design but it is simply not what i am looking for.It only bothers me in that THIS is what the majority of studios are doing>>pvp over and over. The studios that are doing PVE are not even trying to advance the genre or do it better so every new game comes off as same old same old with a new skin.
ALL these pvp games are basically identical with some spin on 1 versus 1 or 10 vs 10 or guild versus guild or 20 versus 20,it is still the same type of combat with the same results, whacka mole with respawns. If i was looking for a pvp game i would most definitely demand NO respawns, you die then you are removed from that mini game.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Neither Steam nor Amazon use that criteria for pre-orders. That only applies to released (or early access on Steam) games,
A pre-order is 100% refundable by Steam until it releases no matter how many hours you play in betas or any other type of pre-release event.
Amazon also considers the pre-order fully refundable until release whether you play in the beta or not.
PS. I already did this last year when they had their summer beta - played and then refunded. I'll be doing the same to see the state of the game 1 year later and may or may not refund this time.

If you bought it on Gameforge talk to them.

Go to your Account Details --> View purchase history --> Find the game --> "I have a question about this purchase"
Explain your situation. Short and to the point.

i got my beta refunded after contacting support the auto answer is no refund but if u contact with steam they will refund it no questions asked.
Everything I have ever done on steam was play less than 2 hours if you want a refund...I have never got a refund for anything beyond 2 hours played....What stinks is some games tie up a good portion of that with just character creation and tutorial.
I don't follow MMOs in development much, this video certainly made me think the question mark about NW gameplay is smaller now. For me that's the thing we had not seen much of, also it was good to see the fantasy generic armours we saw in the previous video are not ubiquitous, the outfits we see here have faction lore written all over them.
Not streamers! Before Asm0deus wants to tell me how many people watch them again you could take up what Iselin suggests. Maybe like me, you don't go for a game until you see the reviews, but rather than watch gurning streamers why not try the game out?
Each to their own, but I still can't understand gamers who will watch other people playing games rather than playing them themselves.
It's okay, Amazon has no clue either.
