Funny, its been proven that releasing games on PC does not hurt console sales. It just sells more games. Xbox team gets it. Their console exclusives will still release on Windows 10 PCs. More companies need to start viewing PC releases as just reaching more customers.
Why on earth would they think realeasing on PC would be detrimental? My guess is piracy, but that doesn't mean people aren't going to buy it. Pirates aren't likely to buy the game if piracy mysteriously no longer existed, they just wouldn't have the sales.
What a bone headed move by Kimura's talent agency.
and its not like they will not emulate then on pc.
though I don't even know what series is this so maybe that is why? not much advertising on the game so the sells are too low and then they blame piracy

I don't know that I agree with that. Metroid 2 is one of the most pirated games of all time, and that has to have been a major contributing factor to its remake flopping back in 2017. Hell, the franchise in general pirates high, sells low, and that can't be a coincidence.
But then, that's also not indicative of PC releases = piracy. PC's gonna emulate whether they do an official release or not, because PC gamers feel more entitled to things.
Game almost noone has heard of, from a developer almost noone has heard of, from a publisher whose glory days are long, long past. I'm sure PC will survive just fine without it.

Sega as a developer has gone downhill, yes.
Sega as a publisher is still putting out absolute bangers. Persona, SMT, Yakuza, Valkyria Chronicles.
