From his post: A key part of Soulbound Studios’ mission statement is to "fuel player imagination through accessible, engaging, and meaningful interactions via entertainment and technology." Both Chronicles of Elyria and Kingdoms of Elyria are laser-focused on that mission, but in recent months, meeting that goal has proved harder and harder to accomplish, as the torrent of abuse towards ourselves and other community members, across all social media platforms, has drastically increased.
Over the last few weeks, it has reached the point where daily threats of violence are a common occurrence. While we’ve thick skins and are doing our best to put things right, managing this level of toxic engagement from a small but vocal minority is both time consuming and emotionally damaging to our community volunteers.

While much of it is fueled by specific groups or certain individuals, we’ve made the decision to temporarily lock the Chronicles of Elyria subreddit, as well as mute those repeatedly sending threats on Twitter and Facebook. We’re sad to have to take this temporary step but moderating our subreddit effectively and stemming the tide of abuse has reached the point where it’s the only viable option until additional moderators are recruited and the community is once again in a place where people feel safe expressing themselves.

There are a few subreddits that are in fact moderated by the developers. One that I visit occasionally, Last Epoch subreddit is like that although at least they have the courtesy to explicitly state that it's an "official subreddit."
At least simpering shills like maulvorn will need a new place to preach to imaginary subjects. It's pretty easy to create a new different sub for COE if anyone feels motivated enough to do it.

When LOTRO's horrible CM Sapience was out of control on the forums, an unofficial website with forums was created. And guess what, the gloves were off completely as they didn't have to worry about offending or getting banned by Turbine.
I'm not sure this game is big enough to really do the same, but new subreddits will be even less civil to the developers.
At the very best he had a "vision"and imo that vision would have been to secure an investor but he NEVER conveyed that from day 1.Instead he made it sound like HE alone with his team were going to build the game with the crowd funding plus ongoing revenue from the monetization design which he claimed revolved around death of players.
So the fact is that he could NOT build the game he had advertised with crowd funding and SHOULD have let people know that he would still need an investor or there would be no game.
Even now he is yet again being deceptive or outright lying because he CLAIMS this is still COE and that KOE is just part of building it but in reality he is trying to separate the two from each other legally and financially.He does this by continually representing KOE while never really even mentioning COE anymore.
In reality he is trying to CONTROL what is being said in the Reddit to again further deceive people into giving him money.NOBODY should be giving this guy a single penny.
