Yesterday was my first time playing Bless, ever. Graphics, sound, and animations are all pretty good.
The controls and mechanics are butal and awkward.
In the first starting area, you can go two ways. One brings you to a field with a level 3 world boss that will one shot you, and there were tons of new players just farming it.
The other direction goes across a bridge to a field with level 24 mobs. I crossed the bridge, realized it was too high level, and turned around. The bridge was mysteriously blocked by debris and I couldn't return.
So I walked out to the field a bit, turned around and the bridge was clear again :S. I went to cross back over and once I got within 2 feet of the bridge, debris would mysteriously spawn back in and I could not cross.
Logged out, not sure I'll try it again.

I played the first Bless and this game is nothing like it not even close, so I am in awe by the bad reviews??? Game is beautiful, combat not bad, I rather play this than Wow anyday .
Videos are a waste of time,no real or little gameplay but luckily i saw a streamer playing on Steam.
So it was good to see a group formed for combat but that is about where the good ends.
I saw my biggest peeve in modern gaming >>>somersaults grrrrrrrrr.
What made somersaults worse is a ridiculous looking female character in high heels and a little girls dress doing the somersaults...super cringe.
Looks like same old copy cat gaming,in some idk instance dungeon or castle running around linear lanes fighting static enemies, can't call them mobs because they're not mobile. Then of course the shallow idea that seems to get players all excited a BOSS fight !!!.The combat didn't really look like a boss fight but all you need to do is give players the feeling they are fighting a BOSS and they get all excited over nothing.
This is basically same old as every other mmorpg with less depth ,so a reskin of 2003,18 year old gaming trying to sell itself in 2021.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Was looking at steam reviews (negative ones). The ones I got displayed weren't really informative. I mean the reviews were like "Can't play with AZERTY kb", "crashes right on tutorials", "40fps with xxx xxxx xxxxx specs" and rest of them were joking like "When is New World releasing?". Only remotely working reviews were about how bad the input is because of console port.
Maybe they all got butthurt from previous bless. But now it's another dev right?
The game has been changed since it was last attempted on PC, and I've read that this latest version was better received on consoles. However, when I tried on the first weekend of availability of this version on PC it was plagued by an interface unsuited to the platform.
Changes were said to be made to improve that, but I found the game less to my taste than what I currently play so quit before they were implemented so I don't personally know how well that worked out.
And yes, much of the Steam reviews are condemnation related to lingering resentment from previous iterations of the game or the assumed applicability of issues from them to this title as well. It's f2p, unlike the previous that was b2p, so one can try it at no monetary cost to determine the merit of the game to one's self.
I have a shocking idea, you could wait until the proper reviews come in and then make your mind up if you want to play? Or you could just go on what Streamers have to say, good luck with that.
One can also personally try it at no up front cost to determine if it would be of interest, apparently another shocking concept.
Starting Zelda Breath of the Wild today as soon as my Switch gets here. Setting it up on the TV and letting my PC collect dust awhile.
Oh also...Eastern Grinders are a No-no for me anyway.
I wish you all fun and GL.

Well it depends on how much the streamers are paid as to what they say........

Every time you see a character doing somersaults in high heels just think "A Wizard did it."
Remember when Bless was F2P everywhere in the world but was buy to play in the US with $500 founders packs only to get shut down. I think those who bought those founders packs should get unleashed founders packs free.
Outrageous garbage. Couldn't even finish the tutorial.
The combat feels like BDO or DCUO, after the tutorial you can re-map the keys.
I wasn't going to try, but hey, they gave me a refund when BO went offline.
It's not as bad as what people are making it to be and many of those reviews are just garbage period.
I have yet to find one that gave a good constructive negative review.
My issues with this game is that it is not a new game...not anymore than Final Fantasy XIV 2010 is not the same game as the current realm reborn.
It the same game they just redid it because the first attempt was a huge fail but unlike these scammers (neowiz) players that bought FFXIV 1.0 did not have to buy FFXIV 2.0 (a realm reborn) since it's just the same game they fixed.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

Reviews are divided by now, I think the negative reviews are really from the guys who cant setup the graphics with decent fps and the ones who are hurt by previous founders packs.
Look at how many players this early in the morning (EU)
CS is also nice, the answered me within a day, my character is was bugged at a starter area.

FFXIV also required a sub, contrary to both iterations of Bless (and they are pretty different tbh).

It has founder pack just like the original and they are not free and nothing from the older version of bless comes over if you want those kinds of goods you need to rebuy the founders packs/take out your wallet again.
All bless online people that had one of these should have gotten for free the equivalent in Bless Unleashed for free:
You can purchase the Founder’s Pack DLC through the links below!
Standard Edition ($39.99)
Deluxe Edition ($69.99)
Collector’s Edition ($149.99)
Instead neowiz took everyone's money used it to fix the game/remake/rename it Bless Unleashed then gave everyone a big F.U. with no compensation.
I expect they hoped some people like you would defend it saying just like you did here "it's free".
As if that makes what noewiz did okay....
