Bless Unleashed has hit on PC, and while the MMORPG itself has been out on console for a few years now, the Bless IP has some ground to cover on PC. Scott has put about 40 hours into the PC version of Unleashed thus far, and has some thoughts.

    So why is this not everywhere available ? (Being from The Netherlands, Europe) Not really fond to be forced to use a vpn to play. Was looking for something until the end of september NewWorld comes back.

    Probably due to loot box laws, I think netherlands is one place loots boxes are not allowed or so...

    Selling ways to avoid forced pvp is pretty sad to me....Could easily make it an option in the game.

    yeah, this will probably be the downfall of the game over time.

    really enjoying the game except for the p2w side of things..namely the forced pvp token in the cash shop..pvp should be player choice only..not forced or need to pay to stop it..nickle and diming players is a sure way to get shut down again...especially when new world is right around the corner....pay attention neowiz...listen to your player base...get rid of forced pvp..and do something with the gold spammers...other then that ..having alot of fun!!!

    Thanks for that. Though, looking over that article, it seems that it's the same "world" just updated with updated game mechanics as there is no mention of any complete rehaul of the world or the cities. Am I correct in assuming that?

     The world is the "same" in that lore-wise it's same setting and some of the characters and enemies are the same, but the world itself, the game world you actually play in, is different.  Locations may have the same names but it looks different. Kind of like the difference between The Elder Scrolls Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls Online's version of Morrowind. There are similarities but it's not the same.

    It's funny you came to this conclusion without playing the game, if you even say that in their forum or steam community page the mods would screech at you the following : THIS IS NOT THE SAME BLESS AT ALL JUST HAS THE SAME MAME HURRDURR.

    I have bless unleashed for free since I bought the original bless online,went in with minimal expectations, logged in new char, 2 minutes into the tutorial. Game crashes. I uninstalled. Not to mention the horrible optimization and performance, my Rx 580 was running stable 80c while playing. Pretty bad for such mediocre graphics fidelity in UE4

    You have 40 hours of play and are only level 16?!?! I only have 7.2 hours and I'm level 12! And I like to explore! What have you been doing?!?!

    I'm enjoying the game so far. I only have a couple of complaints...Obviously the chat spam is just out of control. It really does make global chat useless.

    I've only done a couple of the world bosses (or whatever they are called) and the random instant death is frustrating. If the boss is doing some one hit kill move they need to have better indicators for it.

    Haven't done any PVP and I'm hoping they add some type of toggle option for it or this will just be a time killer until New World comes out (if it ever does).

    1. Its not the same game. There is a much bigger difference between Bless Online and Bless Unleashed then between FFXIV and FFXIV:ARR for instance, and no one confuses those two or calls them 'the same game.'

    2. Its one of the prettiest MMORPGs out there, and I've played them all. Outside BDO I have a hard time coming up with one that looks better tbh.

    3. 2 minutes of game play doesn't give you the faintest clue about the game, at all.

    4. Everyone gets the new Bless for free, its a F2P game.

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    Them just saying that it's different really doesn't give me a good idea as to "what is different" (or "what is not being said?") as all that really is talked about are the graphics and combat. I have yet to see an article that down right says the world is completely remade which is what I'm looking for. Or essentially it's a completely remade game, with all remade assets and a remade world.

    I didn't play much during the buff but I have a level 19, 10 and 7 at 15 hours played.



    Also a better comparison for this game is Tera with a jankier BnS combat system. This is nothing like BDO.





    My bad. I went off the Steam played counter since no /played command in game. Apparently it takes in account time spent sitting on the character select screen.

    I used BDO as a frame of reference for comparison. How can you say combat isn’t a similar concept? This BDO, Tera are all non-tab targeted action combat? Nevertheless I’m glad you gave the game a try ?

    I think I'll try it as a diversion for the weekend. Peon's review shows the world and the world bosses and it seems they can be a bit tough.

    There is a water boss and its just bodies hitting the floor. It's both great and irritating heh.

    I have to say, the start is MUCH better than the original bless as well as their new combo system.

    I have problems with such quest based mmorpg's as they really make alts an issue but at least they allow you to skip it.

    Trying out several classes at the moment.

    Are the 1hr "no PVP" potions still a thing? And are they more or less required if you want to avoid PVP in order to progress?

    I think you have some anti Loot Box laws and the developers decided not to include your country. You can try using VPN to get the game into your Steam library and use VPN to launch it or something if needed and then turn it off.

    But from my experience being in a few betas, I don't think it's that good.

    I was interested in it, but when I saw that there is no option to have a PvE server or something, I completely lost interest.

    I was trying to come up with a proper word te describe it but I am going with a ‘reimagining’ of the old one.
