Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
I think so.

Of all the generic asian MMOs this is by far the most generic of them all.
Back when it was labeled as A:IR it at least had a steampunk theme to stand out but this is just a 'put everthing in one bowl' and I mean litteraly everything. I'm talking Knights on hoverboards and stuff with a generic design you've seen in every single mobile fantasy RPG.
Game doesn't run smooth on a RTX3070 (shocking for a UE3 game, I know!) while graphics are just mediocre.
The only thing that was ok was the combat. I've seen worse but I've also seen way better.
All in all I found it even a lot worse than Bless Unleashed.
Still I wish them well just so that our beloved genre gets more profitable and therefore continues to have a comeback.
The characters feels a little bit low-poly and is sort of zoomed out. I can't get the details on my armor unless I zoom in super close and fuck up my field of view.
Buuut pretty much ... if you've played TERA online, this is basically it. Less sexualized. Combat is action-ish but heavy hitters root you in place. Combos are easy to follow.
So far mobs spawn in waves and I crush them in few hits.
I kinda like the new take. Just don't think this MMO has any long-term retainment possibility.
Even though the UI is super clean and out of your way I still feel it's cluttered. I guess I'm old and grumpy but I really don't like it when 3rd person games lock my mouse and camera. But that's a personal pet-peeve. New World has the same issue for me, but it's not as "in your face" there.
Would've been cooler if I wasn't a demi-god at low level and they spent the time to teach me blocking/dodging mechanics. Then again, Guild Wars 2 doesn't do it either and in there dodging is a vital mechanic. Weird.
P.S: Game runs fine on my RTX 3070, contrary to the poster above. It doesn't dip below 60 fps. It only freezes when it's loading new terrain. A mediocre SSD would alleviate this issue but I installed it on the hard drive, so... (don't like installing beta tests in general on SSD, given it could wreck them)
No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.
Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.

You just lost all credibility with this statement........

Not sure where you are faking action combat in Gw2 to be honest.
Good luck with about 90% of abilities if tab targeting is all you use.
And especially good luck on passing the initial ranks in the PvP arenas if tab targeting is all that you do
At worst, it's a hybrid, but calling it non-action just invalidates your whole opinion to anyone that has played Gw2 for longer than 15 minutes.
This game is Bad.
I made it to level 30 and I'm not ever sure what I did. Just mashed some buttons and "reached my destination" via the END key. The solo dungeon was kind of fun, but the rest of it was poo. The UI is just a giant shortcut for all the different things you can collect. Quests, missions, runestone, runestone skills, dismantle, repair, combine, collections, skills, inventory, attendance, dungeons, pvp.
And it's buy to play?
Not really sure how it's going to survive.
i liked the skill customization , and the glide
disliked the gem system , thats thing screams p2w
leveled to 30 in 2h? fast but the main story stops and u need to do green quests , that are all stacked on a npc , kill things , or click things 99% of quests , i found a minigame quest
B2P ? dont know why would any1 buy that game when it doesnt bring anything
Performance was "ok" albeit for unknow reasons npcs take sometime to load textures ?¿? appear as gray figures for 2-3s
