It is a testament too the team they are still cracking on, but these sort of fixes so long after launch are a really bad look.
This are fixes to the monthly release. when bugs or new things or player requests are added they come in these patches. that giant change for example was based on player feedback. Same for things like adding deco surfaces. these are things devs do for players who request things both in game and in streams.
Perhaps if they wouldn't rush crap out they wouldn't need to patch so often. There is a monthly release followed by 30 days of patches just to fix the new stuff. They fixed the slipping on the overland map just to cause a new issue of being slowed while walking.
After 8+ years you would think they would have less bugs to fix each month.
New World is released so less people will be playing the dumpster fire know as Shit of the Avatar, Richard's Money Heist!

I have yet to see any mmo that has not had issues or micro patches. some hide it better with background patching. if anything I think that more QA testing always helps no matter which game. At the end of the day though happy to see that things get fixed pretty quick as well all the content every other month now that they rotate between a fix release and a content release which is what many other games do.
