Any info when they will add proper cargo hauling missions ?

Like, transport XY cargo from A to B.

If im right, you can atm only transport boxes.

I'm confused on the differentation. Hauling missions/assignments are already in, both large-scale and smaller packages.

    Didnt know that, thank you.

Whatever you do,  don't trust CIG's marketing, They will sell you an exploration ship and a few years later your ship will become a useless roleplaying ship, party boat, etc. The nonbacker of your ship will come to your ship's thread and trash talk your purchase. If you show them CIg's adverting and proof that cigs adverting say exploration ship. Non-backers of your ship will cyberstalk you all over forums and gaming media sites. If you speak about the ship you have purchased or defend your purchase CIg mods will ban you. When you ask for a refund they try to tell you can't get a refund.

people on CIg forums also have metal breakdowns if you dare to talk about what would happen if star citizen fails.

I should know I am close to  7k backer and experience all this.

    check this out from this

    to this .....

keep in mind these game devs from cig are selling the 890 jump for $950 dollars and watch exactly what these game devs are saying about the 890 jump.

how is CIg going to justify the 890 jump price of $950 dollars now we know how the BMM is coming along and everything is better than the 890 jump. I will call it favoritism by the community and devs against the 890 jump. recommend thread to read

Has the BMM taken the 890Jump to the cleaners?

I still reviewing and thinking about citizencon I have not been able to watch all of the videos but I am doing that now. I melted two of my ships and got the 400I for $250 however I am still pushing to get my money back from CIg support.

here are more down to heart views of citizen com from backers who have been around for a while

I regret putting money into star citizen I should have left when didn't deliver what was promised for  constellation pheinox. That should have been the big warning sign.

So you're spending they money, playing the game, rinsing and reusing the same cash.....

And wondering why CIG aren't honouring a refund for a pledge you made 5-6 years ago?

"Hey waitress - I've just eaten the food, drunk the drink, shat it out - but i'd like a refund please"

reusing the same cash credit that is there.  I did not put money in the game sorry that is wishful thinking on your part. Why is CIg taking forever to give me money back? why hasn't support responded to the requests I have made years or months ago?

why are you forcing me to stay I don't want to stay.

star citizen for me is looking more and more like Chronicles of Elyria

there is nothing for me to do.

There is no game remember and where is all the exploration gameplay at

where are theaters of war at?

oh right in my dreams lol

I am just wondering are you suggesting if I uninstall star citizen Will support will give me my money back faster? maybe even get a response? I am going to take things to court that is where my mind is at right now. In all honesty, I am watching all the star citizen videos and it only gets me mad. So the best thing is to walk away I am just waiting on supports response

this is how we saw the 890 jump, this is not what we got.

By the way when you mods were having a heyday with me for my thoughts and non -890 jump owners harassing me on the 890 jump threads. My mom had died of cancer so yeah there is that.

I have always said on the forums the 890 jump for me is the last straw. The red line where I say no. You didn't deliver what was promised so I am out.

harassment from other gamers who are not 890 jump owners for my thoughts only compounded the problem more along with your mods. Iam never going to forget how people moved my thread from the den to off-topic when I pay for the den.

I also believe cig got rid of the star citizen archives because they knew they were people like myself looking for old information and getting quotes.

even if the courts force me to stay with star citizen I will look at the other ways to get rid of my account and get my money back.

SWG was more than just a look or a vibe; it was a world that you could actually live in and make a name for yourself virtually, like a second life. Hunt, entertain, build, farm or just explore. Not to mention the fact that it was Star Wars. You would know if had ever actually played it in the early days. It was also about the community and the people from the time when MMOs were newish. No game has or ever will come close to it, unless it's another SWG.

If Cig unbanned me I will go back to complaining about the ships I own. Right now cig has restricted my complaints. I am sure the Same people would follow me around the threads.

Cig doesn't like hard questions and accountability. That is why citizen Con is mostly a recorded event. Cig had a year to work on the project what we got was mostly concept art work  with very little gameplay that the game devs only get to try out.

No news on sq42 no demo.

Dude, you really just need to quit. You spent that money, and you wont be getting it back.

Sorry to hear of your mother, but that has no bearing on your choice of pledge 7 years ago.

How you conduct yourself on every single SC news article comments section is indicative of why you were banned from what I can tell. If you're disgruntled, then fine. But lets be clear - it's because you pledged for a concept you didnt understand, for a ship you didnt understand,  for a project that you didnt understand.

Either keep playing, or quit playing. But for dear god, please give the 890J spam a rest.

again it is my right as paying consumer

I am not going to stop I am going to dig in. The facts are CIg didn't deliver what was promised like the 890 jump. Your adverting says one thing and what CIG  delivered or in its current state is different from what was advertised. Under different countries' laws that are false adverting or bait and switch.

either you fix my digital product or give me back my money.

You don't have a game a lot of things cig has promised isn't in the game but Chris Roberts can afford to buy a mansion with star citizen backer money according to people on Reddit

Can I ask you a question when was the 890 jump sold?

When was the 890 jump delivered?

how long is your refund policy?

  • olepiolepi Member EpicPosts: 3,017
I am keeping my eye on this one, but it will be couple of years at least before I seriously consider buying it. I want version 1.0 or something close to it.

Me too, I loved Wing Commander and Freelancer, and would like a modern and new space game to play like that.

I usually wait for 6 months after a new title has released, to let the bugs and the rush to be over. Star Citizen isn't even in beta yet, and there is no indication at all when it might release or even hit beta.

I don't back speculative games, or even buy Early Access, unless the game studio has a good track record of releasing good games. CiG has a terrible record.

You know what I don't get along with cig mods over digital ships I own. I get harassed and cyberstalked for speaking my mind on digital ships, marketing, laws, and star citizen as a whole. I am super not happy with the two of my ships the 890 jump and the constellation phoenix. We are still in alpha the game devs will be changing the digital products that I purchase be it now or in the future. I don't have the freedom to speak my mind so I want out. Mr. Chris Roberts isn't risking his mansion for star citizen but I know I am risking around 7k real-life money. There is no guarantee I will get MMORPG or a single-player game after 10 years.

When you go to a restaurant and you order steak and the waitress comes back with chicken.  You're telling me that you would be happy with chicken?

The Carrack and the BMM has taken  890 jump to the cleaners

Now that the BMM has turned up with a genuinely awe-inspiring look of luxury, plus the medbay, plus a hangar, plus a bigger badder cargo/vehicle storage area and more importantly genuine serious weaponry even a Perseus should fear (2x S8) while the 890 has some fairly meh weaponry, is there any reason at all to have the 890jump which costs, even now, a full $490 more than the BMM other than the fact that one is flight ready and the other isnt?

It's looking more and more likely that they will never get server meshing to work at all.  If so, they'll have wasted a ton of money and time on something they can never deliver.

I tend to think CIG's treading water while waiting for an external  someone competent enough to go fix the problem.

Fortunately for them, their marketing buys a lot of water to tread.

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

I wouldn't say never. As long as people give them infinite time and money, they can just keep rewriting stuff, fixing their mistakes, and rewriting the rewritten stuff until eventually they succeed.

But back when alpha 3.0 was released they estimated it'd take them 1 year to get server meshing in. It's now been nearly 4 years.
