It runs like crap for me and my pc should run it without issues. Wait and see if they fix this some months down the road.

I have not had any tech issues .. Runs well for me .. Im lucky i guess..

Its really a tutorial to level 40 in my expereince ..

And if fun is the goal Elyon has delivered

One of the biggest pluses for me which you did not mention is the depth of class customization which is really really deep .. Otherwise nice write up ... and fair ..

For crafting for me ive just been grinding out the base materials and either selling them for a nice profit and housing tokens for house upgrades to the NPC right outside your shop or the Trade Post board which you can set delivery at risk to raiders for higher profits .. Pretty cool little way to make gold .. The Treasure Maps are also nice ..Take 10 greens and fuse them to a Purple will yield about 130k ..

Ye normal mobs( Mobs in Elyon are hostile aggresive sort , not the chickens and bunnies decorating the landscape) are kinda of predicatable but what game is not .. But the bosses in Dungeons and world bosses which there are many have lots of mechainics..

I really like that you can farm an area and get the item to summon the World Boss .. and call your realm or clan to come help out .. Very cool ..

    wrote this another thread ..

Just hit 40 in Elyon , the combat is pretty fun , the class customization is top notch , Sooo many ways to tweak and differentiate yourself ..

The RvR is also well done .. Housing is nice and crafting makes money, you can even ship products to other NPCs across the conitient for profit at risk from raiders ..

and Yes there are houses in the open world and its really nicely done and does not effect gameplay .. .. you can also have your house outside of the open world on a floating island ..

Dungeon runs are fun and worthwhile, there is alot of variation here..

Many many clever mini games spread across the game play ..

Fun grinding game .. just settle into a spot and pull mobs all you want if thats your game ..

I tried it for a bit. I don't think I'm gonna continue playing but it was not bad overall. Combat was great, the pace of the game is pretty on point and the optimization was great for me. Runs really smooth. Graphics were kinda bad and old looking but I'm not a graphics guy so it wasn't a problem for me. Decent mmo for people who looks for something new to try.

I left BDO for Elyon / Lost Ark. Combine the hrs/yrs grind + RNG + p2w/convenience + desync + minimum fps + gear/class disparity of Elyon and Lost Ark requirements and flaws for competitive pvp and it doesn't even come close to BDO's. I got tired of chasing caph20 full PEN, and I play MMOs for the pvp and group pve, Elyon and Lost Ark give me just that, without having to grind 2 yrs for gear or in some cases paying $40k+

Elyon plays beautifly on my RTX 2080 and 70 with i9 and i7, I chose the intense setting and everything max. Nothing has lagged, no hic up, and no desync as in BDO melee pvp. Biggest surprise is the fun group pvp which I had neglected after years of solo BDO grind.

fyi, New World group and faction pvp is also fun af, but I prefered Elyon steampunk vibe. But yea, I ignored the biased reviews and gave Elyon a go and I'm staying.

I play til lv42 and stop since Bless Unleash keep me busy. Overall, Elyon is great games with a lot of contents. The combat is top notch and you can’t go wrong with the theme.

The biggest problems i have are: 1) graphic is pretty outdated and farming area always crowded. 2) too many currencies and items that are extremely hard to keep track of what is for what.

I LOVED the game, the classes the art style, the game is the best part for me is a like a improved version of tera, i hated the lockdowm on combos there had, but here i can just evade and cancel most things.

I played for all of maybe 1 hour before I had to log out for good. Combat for me was just really sluggish and I felt animation locked. Maybe it was just server lag or maybe its just the class I chose but the combat felt uncomfortable. I played BDO for years because the combat is fluid and the combos just fall into each other so easily. This isnt that. Even TERA has better feeling combat which is odd considering its the same development company.

I jumped in for an hour but that was it so didn't really play it enough to talk about it yet. It'll be in my next update though.

Played it for 40 hours..... Was just another generic Korean grinder with terrible enchant systems. Won't be continuing with it obviously found it dull and boring. Its like BDO if you got it off wish.com.

Yeah I heard this and it just ran badly. I don't get why. Maybe it was because I still was in the starter zone. There were so many players running around.

No performance issues here; just the quest system is boring as is the story. The combat is kinda fun as is pvp, dungeons, but outside of that the lore is meh, in my humble opinion.

I can't imagine this game will be reviewed well by most. It seems like a 6.5 at best game.

I'm sorry, but it is a really hard to read articles that is written to the level of a long-winded opinion on a forum.

I don't disagree with the review itself. It's just written poorly, and way to long for an in progress report on a game.

I have only had a chance to put a couple of hours into the game and I like it so far. Just wish they would have upgraded to Unreal Engine 4.
