Riiight. We all know they just dont want to have to deal with the crapstorm of awkward questions and rants in the live events given recent issues they are having.
It would be diablo phone guy 100 times worse.

They changed their rules after that event so that Blizz employees are given the questions and ask them themselves.

I think this is the right think to do for Blizzard in this .. time and (ice)age.

I wonder if we will hear about 10.0 this year as with the previous announcements. 10.0 is such an important X-Pac, that it will set WoW for good. If is bad, there will be no turning back . They will not be able to safe it and all it will matter, will be WoW Classic(s). Live will be a joke ( as it is as we speak ).

If it's good, well ..hope they will learn the lesson.

I guess the ongoing lawsuits against them have nothing to do with it.

And since nothing is left of the old Blizzard anymore, why keep beating around the bush and rename it ActiVisionCon already.

I can understand and get behind the reasoning how having a Blizzcon now would be a bad idea.

HOWEVER, I fail to understand how previous Blizzcons were "less safe" than what they are going to go for in the future.

This is probably a good move for them. There would be little protests and other stuff that shareholders would not react well to. Best to keep to themselves for a bit.

Oh wow, I can't reimagine why.

And this is probably the game over for Blizzard.
