It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since Marvel's Avengers released, and during that time we've covered some of the new character releases, alongside our original comprehensive review of the game. Since the release of War for Wakanda back on August 17th, a lot has happened, and now with the, highly controversial, PlayStation only Spider-Man release on November 30th, it's time to get all caught up on what you may have missed over the past few months.

It was Aeander above who back at launch was pointing out the schedule of heroes to come out did nothing to invigorate the game, I can remember being appalled by their choices.
I'd be surprised at this move considering a lot of us multi-gaming systems people pre-ordered the PS4 version, in large part, due to Spider-man being an exclusive.
No... the worst thing about it was how poorly optimized it was...
This have been a good conversation
Crystal dynamics builds great stories and the avengers single player was awesome. Square Enix is the one that pushed for live service. They even said they will keep pushing live service games, which is fine but not if they keep pulling this favoritism crap.
And let's not pretend that square Enix didn't realize the shape the game was in when they pushed it to launch. You know Crystal dynamics would have kept working on the game if they could. Might have been better for it since multuplayer was such a joke at launch and that was the main selling point of live service. SE set them up to fail.
Games are no longer built with a mind for the customer and growth, they are built purely to milk the customer for everything they can and the backlash is growing as they are getting smaller returns with each cash grab.
