  Ok , this game looks really interesting to me and i have not played it myself yet . Altho i have pinged a group of friends that likes these kind of games , waiting to see if they want to jump in ..

  If we have any folks that are already playing any insight would be great ...

 Beautiful game, setting looks great , Systems look well thought out

   But anyway gonna give away 1 copy here .. so please just write what interests you with Myth of Empires and we can drum up a discussion on i t..

    3. and sorry for this one my foreign friends .. But you must live in N. America .. it is such a hassle thru steam overseas.. with wait times/ Exchange rates/ etc..

    Not supposed to take candy from strangers. ill log into the game and a horse drawn cart with no windows will roll up and abduct me.

    Actually it looks like a decent game, or it has some potential anyway. They seem to be all in feature wise.   

    Just a fyi I have this already (haven't played it yet though). I'm not entering to win it. Good luck folks!

    It just came past my Steam Queue.  It looks like a (slightly) improved version of Conan Exiles, another bush-punching survival game.  The basic premise is the same, anyway.  I hope this has similar building that CE has, without the need to build 100 different workstations.  I did notice that the EA blurb for this went out of their way to avoid the words 'slave' or 'thrall'.

    But, I'm out of this one; just too busy now.  Good luck to everyone trying this out.

    I'm actually super excited to play this game. I've been watching Burkeblack and Bikeman play it and the world looks insanely beautiful. Almost reminds me of Reign of Kings which I really enjoyed a while back, although it wasn't the best made game. Win or lose I appreciate you doing giveaways like this. Really helps the community!

    I am a big fan of survival games, especially ones that are more on the realistic side. This one looks like a really great blend of mechanics from several and I really really want to play this.

    I must again thank Asheram for bringing the game to my attention 10 days ago.  What piqued my interest further was a streamer who had been given early access to pretty much the game as it is now.  The devs told him they didn't want anyone to be bound by an NDA and that he was free to say what he liked about the game, in any place he liked.  That must be a first!  I bought the game as soon as Steam emailed me it was released. 

    To me, at least, the game has the best bits of Conan Exiles, Ark, Mount and Blade, with some Valheim-type raids on your base.  I hadn't realised that was a thing, but another streamer was doing a guide to taming animals and breeding them for Resources and as I watched it a message popped up on his screen telling him that he "was under attack by wolves".  They were trying to attack his base in retaliation because he'd been killing too many of them.  He also mentioned base raids by NPC humans for the same reason. 

    No doubt his "tamed" NPCs helped fend off the attack, because you can buy their services for cooked meat, bits of armour and so on as well as tame them by beating them up while they are tied to a post until they give in.  I gained the services of one early on at lvl 17 who only wanted 15 cooked meat 

    At first, one follower is all you can have.  With all the relevant personal and guild skills levelled up (not easy, I would imagine)  You can have 15 followers max and so can other players who have the requisite skills levelled up.  You can give them weapons and armour, a horse as well (subject to how many horses you can tame at given skill levels) so 10 players in a guild can bring a sizeable force along with them, it seems!  I can imagine them all charging into combat, lances couched, bows firing... I loved that in Mount and Blade so much.

    Anyway, I'll leave it there, but for only £21 (a pack of smokes and a pint of beer where I come from) you can't be robbed.

    Definitely interested in the game.  I just heard about it and am looking into it.   I'm a big survival game fan and more of a PvE server kinda guy.   It surprised me they have PvE servers.  I prefer to fight NPC's anyway. lol

    These games are made for me, they just need to get the combat systems up to snuff.

    I'm thinking this will be a good game for my guild.   Right now we are kicking butt in in PvP in New World.  All the problems currently with NW, this game may be a good substitute for it. I love the idea of traveling to different servers to battle in PvP when you feel ready.

    I really do enjoy these types of games. From all of the reviews I've read I know this will likely be quite the gem. Taming horses and perhaps an elephant, heck yeah!

    Actually the building aspect of this game looks good, im curious to see where they take things as a whole. I know its pvp, is it going to end up more like darkfall with preplanned areas to build or more like shadowbane? I know its not exactly like those two but Im talking more in means of building.

    Also i heard you can hire guard and control mines and such.. seems awesome.

    I didn't like the default 8-way combat, after I tried it.  I changed over to 4-way and that's much more like the system I am used to in other games.

    Actually the building aspect of this game looks good, im curious to see where they take things as a whole. I know its pvp, is it going to end up more like darkfall with preplanned areas to build or more like shadowbane? I know its not exactly like those two but Im talking more in means of building.

    Also i heard you can hire guard and control mines and such.. seems awesome.
    The game is pvp and or pve, you can start on pvp server and take the risk for higher gathering rates and xp gain or you can start on pve server and not have to worry about pvp at all.

    There is a way to go to other servers but can only go the a server that directly borders the one you are on. So theoretically you can go over several servers, just have to go through the same steps you did on first transfer for each one. You cant just walk over a border, need to find a npc who transfer for you.

    As far as building its pretty much the same as Ark/Atlas in where you can build, like theres a certain radious around other peoples buildings that you cant build in unless you are in same guild.

    that is a great design if you think about it and surely they did.

    They have PvE servers as well..... if Pvp isn't your cup of tea.

    Okay you and Blue got me interested, I checked it out and expected a "promise", bugs and other technical issues aside, it seems they have actually "delivered". What a great time to be alive.

    I swear this game IS conan exiles repackaged, retextured and added to. They likely bought the base from Tencent.

    I have playing since the beta... It is a very fun game and it does have its flaws. The combat is fun but janky and the devs know about it and are trying to improve on this. The game is very character driven, meaning that even if you base is blown up and your horses and recruits die they are not gone. You can start up another base because everything under your character is leveled up which means you will gather more so it wont take as long to get back to were you where if and when you get raided..

    Currently a lot of NA guilds are banding up together to fight the MASSIVE Chinese guild they are currently jumping to county to county taking over all the castles this is their main objective...

    There is a ton to do in the game and I wont lie its a grind... a loooong grind... but its also rewarding... You can unlock things but its not wise to use them right away everything have a proficiency level on it so just because you can unlock a 465 2 handed weapon you will also see if you are only 350 proficiency you will take a damage penalty for using said weapon.. you also take a massive hit to durability as well..

    you can recruit warriors(npcs) think conan exiles.. and they work pretty much the same way.. You can tame horses, elephants(more toward endgame stuff) there is different biomes that have different effects.. snow/desert/a toxic swamp which you need protection for..

    you have dungeons and treasure maps through the map and even though the maps are all the same from one county to the next they are fairly huge and pretty damn cool I am hoping this changes in the future with new maps.
