Amidst all the issues that the New World team has faced since launching in September, according to a new interview it looks like the team at Amazon is moving forward with also trying to get more content into players hands. This could also mean in the form of a winter-themed seasonal event here soon.

    They can't even do basic hot fixes without completely breaking the entire game... Can't wait to see what they fuck up by adding some event into the game.

    "I think seasonal events are hugely important for fluff in MMOs and something we want to do for sure. after we get a handle on the basics of running a live service game."

    Only if your game actually works. I mean if I don't want to play the game, then what use there is for events. So the priority should be on fixing the endgame.

    New content may prove New Worlds downfall, they need to take their foot of the accelerator and fix the game, there are still issues from transfers and mergers going on. I do realise they effectively have a semi-separate content team, well get those guys on the quests that need to replace the lacklustre ones they have and other content for a few months down the line.

    Into the Void didn't brought new contents, it brought ONE SINGLR content, the new weapon. THATS IT.

    The game is not that bad folks.
    1 - They have a PTR that they use extensively to test any changes before they push to live.
    2 - They listen to player feedback
    3 - They added a ton of new content with "Into the Void". I myself had 1 new quest, lvl 20. This gave me 10 minutes of new game time. Was stoked.
    4 - I am glad they made Myrk more difficult, and surprised us with it. Who doesn't like surprises right?
    5 - Weapon balance - just gunna say, please buff Great Axe, more.
    6 - Best thing about Into the Void, they added a fountain and moved the well in Everfall. The fountain is more visually pleasing to the eyes. I can say with 100% certainty that this will attract more players to the game. Great call.
    7 - Watermark system. A nice way to slow down gear progression from drops. I hate getting gear to quickly. I am sure most will agree that a system that requires farming chests over and over for 100's of hours was the proper play.

    Already 3 days without a working tradepost in EU servers and NO eta when it will be fixed. Not a single message from them anywhere in 20 hours or so. First day since launch that I do not even bother to start the game, sad. =(

    Which is wrong. One day without trade post.
    Don't get me wrong, I'm also pissed, I had crafted stuff to sell it today (dyes, ammo, food and other crap) and I'm stuck with that in my inventory because of the ineptitude of AGS.

    Don't agree, its really more of a case of build a game with tremendous flaws get blamed, try to fix said flaws and only make matters even worse, get blamed. So far they have reacted to all the glaring game issues like someone throwing water on a grease fire.
