I genuinely have less respect for Bungie than I do for skeezy mobile developers. They are genuinely the lowest quality AAA developer in the industry, and everyone should be laughing at them for vaulting paid-for content in their already tiny game.

I find it funny that we spammed that loot cave back then in destiny, they patch it out FAST AF and now theres a dungeon inspired by it behind an expansion lol

Something is ...wrong with Destiny 2.

I used to look up to see how many are playing the game on Steam and usually there were 100k+. However, in the last 2 or so months, it's going down, like .. very down. As we speak, there are 38k playing with a 48k peak in the last 24h. That's very low .. for Destiny 2.

Am I missing something? Is because the way D2 is going? Or .. people are just waiting for the new x-pac?

It's just people burned out on the last season already. A lot have already done everything there is to do, maxed out there gear, so they are taking a break trying out other games. It will pick up a little after the DLC, but expect a good many to return for the next xpac as it actually has some really good features. They made this season go on too long.

When they separated from Activision i thought good for them changing their fate to not end up like Blizzard, seems once touched by the devil you will always be tainted. Shame to see franchises die like this but alas it makes room for innovation in the indie sector.

this is so hilarious you can't make it up.

Seriously, It's like the bunjy group sits down and says, "OK team! what can we do this year to completely piss of our playerbase and aienate new players? I want to punish people who keep putting money into our game! they need to bend over and enjoy it!"

Seriously, anyone who puts money into this travesty needs therapy. or a BDSM partner.

But every other developer does this. Just because its cross-play now, doesn't mean you automatically get access to Expac content on all platforms if you buy it for example on PC.

Every single other developer does this! Including Square Enix with FFXIV Online, Zenimax with ESO, etc, etc. You have to buy the game and its expacs on each platform you want to play on.

While I agree with some of what you said, it's the optics of it. Couple this with all the other not so friendly things they have done lately, and it just doesn't look good.

I stopped caring about Bungie when they decided to sunset all the stuff I paid for and replace it with stuff I need to buy. F' them.

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

Literally happens in the middle of every season.

When they vaulted the expansions they made players pay $40 dollars for, I knew these were actual undeveloped apes working at Bungie.

Anyone still throwing money at them is is worse than that.

Havent touched that game with a 10 foot pole since then and disreccomend it to anyone. Which used to be the opposite.

Yeah.... as soon as they vaulted content I paid for I was done. If I paid for content you shouldn't be able to be like "Oh no we don't want to let you play it anymore... ZOINK!"

I'm done. I was contemplating the Anniversary bundle and the Witch expansion since I skipped New Light (Stasis lol), but this platform bound nonsense is the final move. They can take their capitalist driven looter shooter and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Very hot item, must limit sales, limit is only one per platform. Hurry before time runs out.
