Gamigo hands down.
About the.......mysterious game : Amazing /facepalm
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
As a player that have been playing a gamigo game for very long time (last chaos), they are really bad and full p2w.
No thanks.

That's really bad......
Agreed. I'm a Kickstarter too and am quite disappointed with this announcement. Time will tell I guess
If the game flops, then it will turn into a choice of pulling the plug or letting Gamigo try to salvage it by changing the business model to one less that is less player-friendly. There will be tremendous pressure on the developers to agree to the latter, as the alternative will be shutting down the game and laying everyone off.
After all, what Gamigo really wants is to make money, and "pay to win" is just a way to make money. If they thought they'd make more money by converting all of their games to buy to play or subscription or whatever, then they'd do it. If a game can prove that it's highly profitable under some particular business model, then they'll want to let it keep being highly profitable under that model so that they can keep making good money.

Fracture certainly does look like a game I’d personally be willing to sub for, if it meets my expectations, which is a spiritual successor to UO.
It’s up to Gamigo to lose me. I’m the type that doesn’t have a problem moving on when things get sour.

Also hard to find one that this was true after a while...
I highly doubt that they would fork over cash and not have some major clauses in the contracts about who really calls the shots from now on. And has the ownership of the IP and such. But I doubt that we will ever see the contract either :P
What I do think is that there was some reasons that they will launch as they said they would in KS, get their box prices, then within a few months go to a FTP system like their other games.
Mostly because of their focus on less vertical progression (I will always refuse to call it "horizontal" ) and their unique approach to PvP / PvE separation with 3 different systems depending on which racial area you choose to spend most of your time in.
No clue if their approach will work and keep different types of players happy but at least they're trying something new.
I'll continue to keep an eye on it casually.

They will be very transparent with their players and never lie to them. It's going to be buy once and play forever, no paid DLC. They'll never add pay 2 win to the game. They are already making plans to give the game a nice "sequel", Fractured Unchained.

'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
