ArcheAge: Unchained is now a subscription-based game, so it has free trials. Those trials, in an effort to prevent exploits, now have some pretty sigificant trading limits.

I played Legacy and then went to AAU, and have been playing AAU for almost 2 years now. Long time gamers knows how difficult it can be when you have gold sellers, cheaters and hackers. You work hard to progress through the game and then *bam* others speed past you using exploits and such and ... well it happens - because holes in the game allow it to happen.

I am going to continue to play because Kakao Games has shown they were going to jump right in and immediately make changes and improvements. While I will miss some of the things they have removed, they have shown they are going to step up and weigh what they add or remove from the game. While there are bugs and other things still being worked out - they have stepped up to make many urgent and important changes.

I cannot wait to see how the game evolves in one year.

They should just call it a day and rename it Archeage: Dead and Buried

Not true, they were so very late with changes more than half of population quit. Their free trials funded top geared players on the fresh start with both gold buying and many many exploits.

There is a reason GW2, SWTOR and other games with free trials have limitations in place.
    Kakao did not.
They are still better than Trion and Gamigo, but not good enough for a sub based game with a price tag of 30 $ a month - since most players from Gamigo have 3 accs, and Kakao refused to merge them or allow transfers, they lost players.

What's your problem, this isn't even a Blizzard thread.

Wait, this sort of crazy off topic posting reminds me of another....

What's your take on the 890 Jump, exploration ship or luxury yacht?

Archeage was gamechanging with the features that it had and no one else, but it had the worst luck with publishers. They made it either p2w, either exploited like hell so they ruin experience for those who are playing legit. Last version of AAU had issues with tones of alts pouring resources into economy. I've played really active and legit and i've barely reached 7500GS while top 100 are already over 10000.
