Awesome. I am curious to see the scale of things and how abilities get worked out as I progress. These are two of the things that make VR different from flatscreen games.

Yeah I think the trick is to go into this not comparing it to other on-market MMORPGs. It's a fantastic step in the right direction from all I'm seeing. I have an Oculus CV1, I haven't tried it yet but just purchased a Quest 2 for this, Beat Saber and other things I've been wanting to try untethered.

    Am excited!

I really want this to work. Skyrim VR was fantastic.

It's simple but very enjoyable. I can see a lot of potential in this game.

Look for the big yellow sphere and go to it, sometimes you can look into the sky and see it glowing. Also, on your right controller you can push a button that will pull up a minimap on your left hand, you can see quest markers on that as well as chests.

Outside world is very cool. The game is super simple at this stage but very enjoyable, I'm finding myself not really caring about leveling to max but just doing random stuff. Cooking is interesting as well.

Godstones as you mentioned in the article are random drops, though it seems they drop more from events. It seems to level up through use from what I've noticed, or maybe from acquired exp while equipped? Just seems the skills I use more frequent level up faster.

And yes, there is random lag on pc as well. Some days it is nonexistent and others like last night it can suck. Overall, the lag seems to be getting better, but it is 100% server side.

The monster lag is also present on PCVR. Game servers are often multiple servers that communicate with each other, eavh with their own specialized tasks. In Zenith there appears to be a combat server that handles player attacks and enemy NPC. When that server is overloaded, it will 'lag' and cause the monsters as well as your attack to stop.

While pretty bare bones compared to flat screen MMOs, it is still a fantastic addition to my VR library. I really enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing what they roll out in the next year.

If lag becomes an issue just jump over to a low or med pop server and you should notice the lag go away.

Very exciting to see the potential the genre has in VR. Will give this a try months down the line once the game continues to evolve. Also looking forward to what the future hold with other bigger budget companies if MMORPGs can take hold in VR. Hope this game succeeds.

    There Is Always Hope!
