    I was enjoying the game immensely last night. Some of the coolest dungeon scenarios i have seen in a RPG in quite a long time. Maybe I am playing a limited amount of games but it got several typed out "badass!" from multiple groups i was in.

    Probably looked at the how many people were hitting Steam and waiting in the log in servers and were like, umm gonna need to bring up more servers fast.

    Actually looking at some of the other headings on MMPORPG they should just slide of those New World servers on over and it be smooth as butta.

    well AWS have had a stroke today so im not surprised if that threw a spanner in the works

    It was likely this or have a disaster of a launch. I feel like this was probably the better option. The only issue now is that expectations of a smooth launch are higher lol

    Just another MMO launch day. Expecting anything else is just crazy. I give them credit for just holding back instead of launching with massive queues or unstable servers.
    I'll be disappointed if I can't play tonight, but I've played the last three nights so not a huge deal.

    Seems the servers are up now. There's almost 900k people watching Lost Ark on Twitch (375k watching Asmongold alone) if that counts for anything. Edit: Or not. People still having problems getting in, inc. Asmongold. lol

    even with the maintenance over, the servers are still down and we're getting issues. amazon is sure really bad at their job. but hey, here's 100 dollars in new packs you can buy on store page -- apparently they wiped all characters by accident, and need to roll back, and redo it all.. back to grinding overwatch event

    Early access servers were full and had zero problems. Game ran smooth, servers ran smooth. I think people would rather have a launch go smooth than have a plethora of issues. Gotta love the generation of gamers that have zero patience else they cry mommy

    Was anyone surprised? A game wide move to new servers and the introduction of new servers is what they were doing? I predicted issues and I will predicate more, I really don't see how anyone can think something like that will go smoothly.

    They fixed the issues quite fast though so that is good.

    Yes they did, I logged in at 9:00 PM ET and had nary a problem.

    I did hit a strange bug where I completed a tavern favor quest however the quest tracker on the screen didn't go away.

    I clicked on the locator diamond which crashed game to desktop.  Happened a 2nd time after logging back in, so I left it alone for the evening.

    Upon logging in today I got a pop-up asking if I wanted to complete the quest, (wasn't anywhere near the tavern) said yes and the tracker went away.

    Seemed to have been self correcting, but not sure if by intelligent design or what.
