Safest Prediction - FromSoft fans will continue to be the most annoying fandom for years to come.
Game of the Year (Personal) - Prehistoric Kingdoms. I'm expecting Planet Zoo but with dinosaurs, which is perfect for me, but it's indie and early access, so it'll be janky as hell.
Worst of the Year (Industry) - Anything with strong NFT integration

Biggest Sales Flops - If Blizzard is releasing anything this year, then that.
Biggest Controversy - I can't help thinking that Bethesda is going to fuck up Elder Scrolls 6 in some way or another. I feel like this will be the year we start getting details, and those details are destined to disappoint a lot of people.
Most Disappointing - Skate 4. I'm not sure if its even releasing this year but there was a teaser about it in EA's latest investor report thing. EA games are always disappointing.
Your Most Anticipated - Skate 4. I've been boycotting EA since Feb 2013, but I have always said I'll break that boycott for a new Skate game. I loved the first 3 games!

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

Game of the Year (Industry) – Probably Elden rings given the perfect scores from critics and mass marketing. Saying that I will probably buy it myself when I finish Tales of Arise and Mass Effect Legendary edition.
Game of the Year / Most Anticipated (Personal) – Early but I guess I could combine most anticipated -Forspoken from Square / Enix. Company who makes games I enjoy, and the trailer looks great “Is that a MFing Dragon???” had me laughing.
Worst of the Year (Industry) – Anytime you have large *devoted* fanbase to a franchise (Star Wars, Lord of the rings etc) there is usually a double-edged sword that goes along with it. Hogwarts Legacy, with the Harry Potter fans will probably be the worst / biggest disappointment.
Worst of the Year (Personal) – For the games i have on my radar my biggest disappointment this year will probably be Starfield. I enjoy space themed games (I bought No Mans Sky the week after it released when it was getting trashed) but the game has taken so long, the dedicated forums closing (search Bethesda Starfield forum and you get unofficial forums), and I am not sure how the new IP will be received. I will still purchase it but it wont be day 1.
Biggest Sales Flops – Again lets go with Hogwarts Legacy, it will either make a lot of money or be a huge flop because it didn’t make a lot of money and its supposed to.
Biggest Controversy – NFT’s seem to be the new flavor although I think MMORPG Kickstarter’s and in some cases their decades long development will still be biggest threads around these parts.
Better than Anticipated – Insert Indie company here – 2 years ago it was Hades (great game, obvious a lot of love put into it), last years surprise was Valheim so something from some *unknown* company aka not EA etc.
Most Disappointing – For those of us that play games on multiple devices it would be most disappointing if a more powerful Nintendo switch version was not announced this year. They have said early last year that they were not doing anything with it at this time, but Nintendo always holds the cards tight to the chest.
Game/Franchise You Most Want Announced – Dragon Quest 12 The Flames of Fate release date, so far just a trailer from last year and confirmation its being made, could still be years away even though the previous DQ11 came out 5 years ago.
Your Safest Prediction/Low Hanging Fruit (Can be about anything) – Star Citizen will continue pulling in money and will keep moving those release goal posts farther away.
I am expecting the worst, will be pleasantly surprised if Legacy is good.
