The New World team released a 2022 seasons roadmap and a new Dev Update video. The video highlights the upcoming Tempest's Heart Expedition and Blunderbuss, along with player-friendly changes coming.

    Get rid of the need for stupid keys to get into dungeons.. can still use the keys with a special chest at the end or something...

    I hate this mentality right there. It was this that helped new world die.

    Well.. 99 percent of the player base chose to do this because of the toxic community of an echo chamber. 

    Pointing out what's not working is not hating, that's telling what's wrong with the game. 

    I feel sorry for the next game that gets these clowns to let it die.

    I think roadmaps are self defeating, don't hold yourself to a schedule, they did that for launch and launched way too early. Launch new content after time for polish and testing.

    The numbers on SteamDB show how good New World is - it keeps losing players, because even the most diehard fans are starting to realize how bad the game really is. By the time summer comes, the population will be around 5,000 - 8,000 players at peak hours. And by the end of 2022 the game might go F2P, because there won't be enough players for crucial activities in the game to work. Even if it goes F2P, I will not waste my time playing it, I played in two CBT events and each time I uninstalled after 40 minutes.

    There are F2P P2W Asian garbage MMORPGs that are so much better and more fun than New World will ever be. I'd pick something like Metin2 or Silkroad Online over New World any time.

    I see there reasons for doing this, but in the round it would have been better if they had just announced what was coming up without the timeframe.
