Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR
I am not certain, although it is a possibility. Reports don't always come from obvious directions. I remember BruceYee for example kept accusing me for reporting him in our spats, but I never did. Not that any of this can be proved anyway.
I also assume that some moderation, albeit likely a tiny amount, happens when mods take it upon themselves to spot check.
Assuming that it's ALWAYS triggered by a report is just as false as assuming you know who done it.

If he's assuming I reported one of those posts because of this thread, his assumption is wrong.
No need to report him when I don't have to read his posts using ignore.

I can always quote him and ping you.
Please do if he throws another tantrum. I've read some of the stuff he posts about Slapshot in another thread. The man is exasperated by almost everything. I'll have a chuckle then move on with reading everyone else's responses.
Thought I'd poke the bear while he cannot respond. This is me 'winning'.
As for future blowback.... I'm not the kind to think ahead.
Wow i thought they stopped making Tab years ago when folks stopped wearing spandex. I can remember recoiling when trying a can.
You learn something new everyday.
I think tab and wearing spandex by those who should be legally prohibited from wearing it are related.

Ain't that the truth. Some people really should avoid forums if it affects them so much.
I just try to avoid politics in any forum for obvious reasons but in non-news or non-politics sites even more so. I mean, what's the point? It always degenerates into people losing perspective, posting obvious erroneous facts and pulling percentages out their rear end to somehow justify whatever rant they are currently droning on about. I'll stick to the rants about which game is awesome/sucks or when the next Kickstart game will go down in flames...
BTW, just I cant resist: Posting on a half dead game site about how you don't care if you get banned is neither brave nor a credible act of political defiance. It's just kinda sad... Just one person's opinion.

That comment was never intended to be those things. It also wasn't a comment specific to any one forum or reddit site, which is why I made it clear it wasn't a value judgement on the site staff or any of the users.
Getting banned from any online forum site about a hobby is just not that big a deal in general. Nothing defiant or brave about merely keeping things in perspective, I agree.

I want to clarify my post was not meant to address any specific person or post. I honestly haven't read through the majority of the posts on this thread for reasons stated previously. Although I do enjoy a good Ungood post. I find them entertaining in a guilty pleasure kinda way...
Is that still around? Everywhere I go it's always "Pibb Xtra!"
Anyone still drinking RC Cola???
RC lol, Haven't thought about that one for a long time.
A funny thing happened to me with my cola drinking habit lately. I was gifted one of those make your own cola gadgets (works well but the syrup is pricey) that uses a CO2 cartridge.
I typically drink diet Pepsi and the flavor from my gadget using their diet cola syrup was close enough to it. So all was good.
But then I decided to try my grocery store chain no name diet cola and found that this was even closer than my home made brew and it's also a lot cheaper than diet Pepsi or the one I make,
I am now a no-name cola aficionado

The MMO genre is dying, that's why there's nothing of value happening on the forums. Someone said quite early on, it's all about moving on from one big release to the other now. Everybody is chasing that dream of the first hit again, when MMOs were new and extraordinary and interesting. Now they're nothing but stagnant Korean grinders that all look nearly identical minus a name or camera change. Let's not even get started on the Kickstarter MMOs, promising the world or chasing after those same grognards who just can't let go of those tedious EQ grinds back from 1999.
Plus, the forums themselves are archaic, and most other sites and large developers have left them behind. The fact that MMORPG even HAS a forum is still impressive to me. Although that certainly speaks to the archaic level of tech that they're probably using to update/maintain the site.
Eventually we'll see these forums go away too and that will truly be the end of an era, and we won't have anything like it again. Not unless it's in a discord or some random holdout forum elsewhere.
Well I think Ungood has had to have "time outs" before, a rest from here might do him good. But I hope he is back soon with batteries recharged.
Hopefully I still hope @Gdemami comes back to he seemed more loved then me on here lol
I just LOL'd you randomly so you don't miss him so much.

That guy really needs to get some perspective on forum posting.
Assuming that it's ALWAYS triggered by a report is just as false as assuming you know who done it.
