Looking for a new MMO - Any Suggestions?

Right now I've kinda fallen in that gap where I'm not really sure to play.. I know D2:R and New World are over a month away and I'll be playing those but for right now I'm trying to find something than the other games I usually play often which is League of Legends & Dead by Daylight. Kind of bored with both at the moment.. Lol.

Was looking at other options and see what comes up which I'm trying to find something else other than World of Warcraft (bored of it) and FF14 as it's not really my style. Games I thought about potentially trying out was Elder Scrolls Online again or even take a look at Bless Unleashed or possibly Crowfall.

Other than that.. I don't really know. Any suggestions? Lol.
Thanks!

Well, what is your style? I mean, Elder Scrolls Online is very story based. Very quest based and lots of spoken dialogue.

So if you don't like Final Fantasy 14 is it because of the spoken dialogue/story based game play?

I'm wanting something that has a good amount of PvP but not entirely based around it. A game where if I don't sign on for a month or two or just put in a few hours casually a day I'll still be somewhat able to keep up without having my gear be trash.

Maybe try Bless Unleashed. It's free to play and has open world pvp around 30.

There is a main quest that  leads  you through but the more fun stuff would be the pve arenas and the open world boss  fights.

The gear upgrade doesn't seem too bad.

If you are waiting a month for New World. I would suggest Gamepass, it costs $1 if you have no yet tried it. On PC you have access to 200+ games and allot of them are valued for $60+, so its allot of quality games. Good cheap way to distract yourself for 30+ days.

How about Foxhole? Haven't played yet but have heard good things about it here and I don't think it's terribly gear centric.

New campaign getting underway and only 20 bucks so might be good for a month's worth of fun.

How safe is the Gamepass? And do I need some sort of Microsoft account to use it?

It's not gear centric at all, but it's one of the most interesting, and strange team based MMORPG's that I've ever experienced. You have people fighting the opposing faction at the front,  you have people in rear areas gathering materials, refining them. You have people taking the mats, and building base structures, trucks, combat equipment, and still others who enjoy the logistics side, and load it all up from the rear and get it to the front.

I've actually enjoyed it, because I'm not tied to any single "role". If I want to fight, I go find a squad  in a hot combat zone, and help, or be a medic. If I don't have a ton of time, I'll go gather at a resource node, and load up the refinery for people to make the gear they need. Honestly, it's kinda cool spending a day or more either loading up areas you expect the enemy to make a push, and doing the same to gear up for an offensive.

The camera is a bit wonky, the graphics are fairly primitive, but the bones for something fun are there, but it's definitely a niche game. I'm 100% confident I'll get my $20 out of it, and I suspect it'll be something I will dabble in here and there for awhile. I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like it, and I'm not sure exactly what to make of it. Definitely something I suspect you either really enjoy, or absolutely hate, and not a lot of middle ground. Really have to enjoy the idea of being a cog in a bigger machine.

Actually I think it's Day 177 of the campaign (server-1). I think I saw an article somewhere where that was written, and that's what pulled me in. Definitely not the start, but damn...lol, didn't matter a bit.

What you need is a sandbox make your own content kinda game. I suggest Mortal Online 2 or Star Citizen. Hear me out, I know what you are thinking. Im not gonna write a huge thing but getting in with a good group these kinda games always have something going on. You wouldnt know how fun it it protecting people or territories(escorts and more) or being the bad guy can be in most games. But the two I just said really do the sim life justice.

For those interested in Foxhole, Humble Bundle just started a sale and it is 32% off over there. Might be a good time to jump in.

Any games similar to like the artstyle of Wildstar?  Not crazy realistic looking.

It sounds like ESO would be a good game for you then. I don't think you wil get much out of any mmo if you are only going to play for a month as a filler before NW, but ESO lets you pvp from level 10 (from memory), and it has a kind of endgame "gear cap" so once you get to max level and 160 CP your gear never becomes "trash".

You can also play it solo or with friends/guildies and the various game systems like crafting etc are reasonably interesting and deep, but intuitive enough that you don't need to spend hours of research online to understand how they work.

ESO removes the concern of gear trashing. New gear sets are meant to provide additional options, not replace previous gear.

PvP access begins at level 10, which does not take long to get. You can then level with PvE and PvP in whatever mix pleases you. It is confined to particular areas so if you want open PvP it wouldn't be suited to you.

avoid bless unleashed at all cost . the developers have zero clue as to how balance the things out and the game is filled with bugs .unless you want to play the game with controller pass it off . the keyboard and mouse controllers are still clunky .even mount travel is pain in the ass the control on mouse .
also the pvp is almost non existent in that game . some matches occur in arena .but those are pretty one sided .
