Maybe its a ..good sign, since I also didn't really got impressed with Legion, but it turned out to be one of the best X-Pacs out there.
Oh well, we have WoTLK this year, so yea! With that, I am impressed!
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
Not saying I'm thrilled about it, just they did announce that though.
Instead of fixing the pre-Cata problem of many useless and unappealing talents by actually creating interesting and fun ones, they came up with the horrible system that the game runs to these days - with loads of reworks and tweaks, since the new post-Cata system has always sucked balls.
If this is any indication of what the new expansion will be about, it's digging out every game feature ever that the players loved and trying to bring them back in some form. Might be ok if they manage to pull it off, but it could also end up as an incoherent mess of a 'Christmas tree' - we'll see.
And I would bet they will keep the Shadowlands approach, a.k.a. 'Legion on a shoestring' and give this expansion the absolute minimum budget possible without actually outright torpedoing their efforts.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.
There isn't a single thing I found to be exciting. Even the cinematic was horribly boring in comparison to anything they've put out since vanilla.
Great, bringing back talents... Wow. That's the big feature? Congrats. Took them ten years to finally revert a shitty change.
As for dragon riding... Lmfao.
They have already promised 'things will be different' for the last two expansions to completely faulter.
Look at the live stream today...
I'm an old guy and I'm like wondering if this is a WoW panel or an AARP meeting.
Just like music, I really believe it's young, fresh ideas that move things forward, not hiring in your local bingo hall.

While someone mentioned the dragonflight will be the next throw away feature, I think that this one could be the first progression system they could keep for upcoming add-ons same as Guild Wars 2 did.
Of all the humanoid Dragon races I think this one looks like one of the better ones so far, I just don't like that for the human form they choose the Blood Elf.
Skilltrees, I mean what's not to like about that? Of course it's 10 years late but better late than never.
All in all I think this looks like steps in the right direction but to be really hyped about anything by Blizzard there's way to much damaged trust but I'm gonna try to be open minded about this, just no more hype, those days are long gone.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
