Yes, but is that going to be the NW story a year after launch? Are they handling less bugs at launch is what I am saying, is their a sense they are getting this under control, though obviously the bugs cannot be polished off once and for all? Because announcing they are chasing bugs every other month makes me think they are not.

Come on, you can't be happy about this, we need new AAA MMOs to do famously other wise MMOs are going no where. They have to turn this game round or we may never see another AAA launch.

If Amazon's money cant make a good MMO then who can?

I wonder why they kept names when the character was deleted?  Most times when I want to delete a character, I simply want to remake the character using the same name.  This policy would have definitely frustrated me.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

They kept them for re-use by the same account, which was definitely not stupid at release. So you could have done what you said... I personally recreated my second character on various alt servers with the same name, and never had a problem.
They just unlocked those names taken by inactive accounts.

He seems mad he was so wrong about it folding up in 6 months and just trolling it for the lulz out of boredom. Who really cares what he thinks because it's mostly harmless and doesn't mean much anyway. Some people here are going to troll some MMOs. It's nearly inescapable. It is very easy to get sucked into pointless conjecture and forum pvp though.

I mean in what world do people complain about bug fixes and name releases. Those are things most MMO players love.
My concern is that they may not be able to get on top of the bug fixes, I have no handle on how well they are doing in that regard. It is just that the studio keeps talking about the bug fixes it is doing so you start to wonder are they winning? Though of course that's relative as all MMOs tackle bugs all the time.

There is no way the game was going to fold in 6 months, was he even serious about that? But there are genuine concerns, some of which you got me thinking about Torval. For all my assumed negativity I still hope they can turn the game into something more of us would want to play as their "primary MMO" as it were. Some on here might see it as a failure but I would see a FF style closure and reboot as a positive move. If they do widen its appeal while the game is still running that will of course take far longer to do.

    Fingers crossed.
