It is important to celebrate a new year. This is not related to any religion or specific culture. This is about humanity. That we are still here, surviving, not afraid of the cold of the winter but embracing it, not exhausted by whatever nature throws at us because despite all of our misdeeds we are of nature. None of our differences matter because we all share the most important thing; love. And love conquers all.

Some New Years resolutions for the gaming industry:
- Less cutesy, we are not all kidults.
- Make more games for people who play on screens bigger than the palm of their hand.
- Begin a good crowd funded MMO beta and help dispel the scepticism that has descended on such projects.
- Wake up to the dangers of P2E and where it is going to take the industry.
Some New Years Resolutions for me:
- Investigate games more after two wrong footed purchases this year.
- Don't be put of by last years failure to find a good MMO home.
- Stay fit to ensure you are still kicking kids butts in FPS in ten years time.
- Try not to wind up console players so much, you can have too much of a good thing.
- Keep calm and carry on posting.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
