    This game has been the definition of buying into an Early Access title. It feels like almost every month since official release there's been some kind of exploit that needs to be addressed or another exploit found as a result of them trying to fix something else.

    This sort of issue doesn't actually bother me, all MMOs get this sort of thing, it is the lack of any effort to change and increase core gameplay that shows the game is going nowhere.

    It certainly seems like they've had an unusually high number of exploits since release.

    Just an awful first showing for Amazon's video games department.

    I usually wait at least a year after a new MMO launches to try it. Based on where NW is today, is this a good time to start playing it?

    Amazon made a number of smaller games before this all duds, they have yet to shine.

    I would say YES. I have been playing it since June and have encountered only the invisible quest giver but have not seen or had any other bugs.

    Welp. A couple more months of this New World Alpha phase and they'll finally be ready for a Beta release.

    I'd actually like to give it a try one day, just waiting on some major new content (landmass) drop and perhaps some fresh start servers before I do.

    I thought for sure this might happen by the first anniversary date but isn't looking likely at this point.

    Do you remember how often we have talked about how a shut down, redesign and restart might work? I gave up suggesting it.
