Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase have canceled an under-development World of Warcraft mobile MMO that has been under development, according to a new report by Bloomberg. The title, codenamed Neptune, would have been a mobile MMO set in the same universe as Blizzard's long-popular World of Warcraft, but the project has been set aside due to a financial dispute.

Doubt it, we're not seeing cancellations or discontinuation of service to other games from or in China, and NetEase is still publishing WoW and it's upcoming expansion in China. It says a financial dispute.
Anyway.

You're right, it would have absolutely nothing to do with it.
The games cancellation was likely a while ago and Bloomberg just found out about it and the decrease in Netease's stock from the small delay of Diablo is nothing compared to the decrease of the entire Chinese stock e market because their economy is in shambles.
But, hey, none of that matters.
