I'm forever amazed, how these days "new cosmetics/currency/dailies" is usually major chunk of game's update, to the point they mention it on top of the list. Same with GW2 - new rewards, new skins, new (old) story chapters recycled after a decade...and these litter game lifespan in-between expansions.

I'm forever amazed, how these days "new cosmetics/currency/dailies" is usually major chunk of game's update, to the point they mention it on top of the list. Same with GW2 - new rewards, new skins, new (old) story chapters recycled after a decade...and these litter game lifespan in-between expansions.
This is because reskinning assets and creating a revolving door of super-simplistic PvE content is far cheaper than anything else to develop, and consumers are really, really terrible at assessing the value of something based on how much work went into that thing.
