    At least the free trial will let players see how absolutely horrid the game is. 

    If you can call it a game. You'd have to be really low to want to throw money at this thing.

    it's a buildy game, so I would hope for more. Just looked at their website, and on quick scan, it seems razor thin on info. A lot of videos, not a lot to actually read. For me personally, I like to read things. Videos are a poor substitute for old fashioned info...for me at least.

    Probably asked friends to donate, gave them money to do so to make it look active. You ever been to a fair before and seen those demonstrations and some paid actor comes walking up and is all, OMFG this knob turner and doo-dad scrubber changed my life and helped me find Jesus all while saving my marriage.

    These people were:

    - using minors as free labor to moderate their Discord while dangling false job offers as enticements

    - allowing furries with a size inflation fetish to groom said minors, and put their size inflation fetish on display

    - scammed their way into ycombinator through nepotism and no merit on their own

    Is anyone surprised the end product is garbage?

    I mean they're giving you a free trial. That's more than most will do. I understand the controversy behind it, but at least you can see for yourself.

    It's not necessarily sketchy as much as it's just massive incompetence. The game has had several giant security issues and continues to have outstanding mistakes in all parts netcode related.

    Not only DID people give them money, but I guarantee that they make MORE money as people who somehow never heard of this fiasco buy in to it and others who already bought in decide to double and triple down instead of cutting their losses.

    i tried to watch 10 mn of gameplay, i stopped after 3mn!

    it seems so outdated

    Dreamworld is an abolute mess run by two people who have no idea what they are doing. Garrison and Zach are the queens of bullshit artistry. Check out the interview Garrison did with MMOBomb and see how many lies you can catch Garrison in.
