    Damn these prices are insane. For this price one can purchase an entire console! And this is just a gfx! When you factor in all the components...kinda pricy, no?

    Today it's cheaper to buy a pre-built PC than it is to purchase upgrades for it. At one time I was all for PC games expanding and pushing the envelope for graphics, but in todays world and economy I have changed my opinion on it and no longer consider that the latest and greatest eye candy is needed. The GFX pricing is pretty much out of hand since very few manufacturers develop them. So yeah, it does appear that this is the turning point in the console vs PC war unless console prices rise up to around $800.00

    This offers more than double the performance of any console on the market, as well as newer features that consoles don't offer.  It shouldn't be surprising that a higher end part costs more than a lower end one.
