Dune Spice Wars is quite excellent.
It won't continue for weeks, but if you play well, some matches can be quite long.
Respect, walk, what did you say?

Do you mean the mobile RTS -style where you send an army and come back after couple of hours to look at how much loot they brought from enemy city?

Let me recommend Age of Wonders and Age of Wonders Planetfall, not sure what the multiplayer is like these days mind you. PvP is very touch and go in any of these games unless playing with friends. If PvE interests you, they also have excellent campaigns.

Age of Wonders 3 is one of my faves. Not sure if it qualifies for the raiding portion of that criteria, but it is otherwise an extremely solid high-fantasy TBS/TBT experience. Has some minor balancing issues imo, but nothing that can't be fixed with mods.

I loved age of wonders!  I'm gonna have to see if it's on steam.

Both are and if you wait you can get a great discount, Invasions is the only DLC to avoid, it was not considered that good.

    It doesn't have raiding.

Speaking on more general level, we didn't understand what kind of game you're looking for and as a result this thread has some wildly different types of suggestions. You might want to post some example games or try to otherwise be more specific about what you're looking for.

Like looting from other players bases for resources when sieging  like happens during medieval times like we do on rust but instead in strategy games

I think closest to that might be games like Boom Beach or Clash of Clans. Those are games where every player builds tower defense -style base with turrets, and an army for attacking. Then you grind resources by repeatedly attacking enemy's tower defense setup and lose some of them whenever enemy overcomes your tower defense setup.

The issue with clash of clans and boom beach are its too cartoonish and if you siege other player settlment it wont be perm destroyed as it will be respawned again
and whats the point of siege in age of wonder 3 if not for resources is it for territory control?

Try conquerers blade.  It's a fun game with territory wars and such.

In Age of Wonders -games you don't raid, you conquer.

the issue with conquer blade is that you need to be in guild to do these kind of wars thats why i was asking for mmorts in that i can build an army of my own ai and fight it with another player who has the same and the territory wars you wont actually siege their towns destroying buildings and taking a massive loot from their resources but more of holding point and you get some rewards for it
