I have several on my radar that i am most anticipating. Not going to bother listing any kickstarter MMORPG's that would be more of a most frustrating category.

    Final Fantasy 16

    Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Suikoden 1 and 2 Remastered – (If these make enough money for Konami we may get Suikoden 6). Maybe this is what @blueturtle13 was alluding to in the last most anticipated thread, this remaster news came out of nowhere.

    Tactics Ogre Reborn

    Hogwarts Legacy

Elden Ring DLC (Assuming there will be some in 2023). I just cant stop playing this game, think i am level 195 and still on first playthrough. Just keep finding fun areas exploring.

    Forspoken

    Starfield

Almost certainly. I doubt he was referring to the MGS and Silent Hill rumors people have been throwing around for years.

Yeah there was no hint of anything Suikoden related before this game show, other than what Blue inferred, but i was hoping that would be the series he was talking about.

Thats for sure. The MGS and Silent Hill rumors are updated every few months. In regards to MGS 6 they have have either been it will never be made at all after the Kojima falling out, or that it is due to be announced in the near future.  A MGS remaster has been rumored for 2 years now, but i guess if they can mine these remasters for gold they may make more series available.

    ARK 2
This will be a gamble, I don't really enjoy survival games but the first ARK you could tweak so much stuff that it wasn't really a survival game. I loved the setting, and the freedom it offered. Its also probably the closest I've ever come to a single player sandbox RPG (it wasn't an RPG, but it wouldn't take too much to get it there).

I'm hoping ARK 2 will basically just be ARK with better graphics and more stuff. But, if it doesn't have single player mode, I won't bother. I may even take the plunge and start modding myself for this game.

    Starfield
I've had fun with Bethesda's previous RPGs, despite how shallow a lot of the mechanics tend to be. So, I'll give Starfield a go. I have no idea what to expect, some of the previews make it sound amazing, some make it sound boring.

Beyond those 2, I have nothing on my list of upcoming games which is a bit disappointing. I really, really want a sandbox RPG to play but I don't think anyone is making them.

Bayonetta 3 and Harvestella. Ohh, and the new Inquisitor Martyr expansion. Not much stuff on the horizon that is REALLY exciting to me, although things like the new Star Ocean and ‘Vermintide 40k’ do pique my interest.

    Scorn.

I doubt the new Elder Scrolls game will be out by then.

Maybe Monomth (as I backed it) if it comes out next year.

    Yeah that was it.
Suikoden remasters were something that has been talked about behind the scenes for some time and it was good to see the (offical) annoucement.
I'm certainly looking forward to trying them. Honestly the most exciting thing Konami could have announced outside of a new entry, IMO.

@Sovrath Scorn is out now and might really be your cup of tea. It is slow, it has no context whatsoever and the puzzles are good and the little combat it has is bad. But that setting, the artistry in all of it is stunning, and gross. An incredibly divisive game which you have to ‘get’ or will be mightily disappointed with. I am enjoying it for sure and will probably finish it in the next few days since it is pretty short.

    Baldurs Gate 3
I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy playing this at least once. Like Neverwinter Nights 2. I dont really expect to enjoy playing it multiple times like the originals.

    Bloodlines 2
I havent given up hope this might be something enjoyable, especially since they got a new developer. The original concept was godawful. Start as thinblood, chose from very few clans, only two disciplines per clan, no guns, they literally tried to simplify the already very simple rulesystem of the original even more.

    Starfield and TES6
Steam only. No deal. Bethesda still hasnt offered Skyrim on GoG.

Some (such as System Shock Remastered) may or may not release in that exact year/date but the majority listed there are accurate.  Got 'em all bookmarked in order of date so I know which to play first.

    Pantheon
    Saga of Lucimia
    Chronicles of Elyria
    Star Citizen

    In that order.

Well, to clarify, I wont exactly protest if its actually as good as the original, but from what I've seen I just dont expect that to happen. Baldurs Gate, especially the second part, was full of great NPCs and great sidequests.

Wouldnt that be great if it actually releases, at least as alpha version.

Ys 8 is ridiculously good, so good that I still haven’t played 9 yet and am afraid to touch it. Even with 50% off in the Eshop right now.

Looking forward to Monster Hunter Rise at 4k on Series X myself and Guilty Gear Strive with crossplay. Ohh, and about to finally start my playthrough of Bayonetta 3.

Your fear is understandable. 9 is nowhere near as good as 8. I guess I need to finish it next year, but I found it uncharacteristically slow and meandering for a Ys game.

Thanks for the warning, slow and meandering are words I do NOT want to associate with an Ys title. The new Star Ocean it is for the next months.

Yeah, my disappointment was palpable given that I actually liked the ideas behind it. It has the coolest Adol and a great cast of characters. It just didn't give me the adrenaline rush that games like 8 and Celceta did.

I think they know what fans want though, since the previews for Nordics seem to lean on 8's aesthetic hard.
