After several changes, Crowfall will be taken offline this month and re-enter active development for a future relaunch. The team is "rethinking" what that relaunch will look like.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
This was me also. I gave it a try, but just didn't enjoy the pvp at all. Would have played more if there was a pve part of the game as I did enjoy the crafting and gathering parts.
Their horse ended up having 2 humps on its back... who could have guessed that outcome?

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

That and probably Raph Koster's input during development with his idea of 'fun'. Games should be a second job and they should punish you tremendously for playing them because it's funner that way.
It was annoying how these developers were trying to sell us on the idea that the metaverse was something new, different and revolutionary when in fact it was just an VR MMO broken up into a bunch of tiny rooms.

I didn't know it had even gone live. I had totally forgotten about it. Was never that interested in it, but nothing wrong with more variety for people to choose from.
I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
