untrue! i wish you a good day!

Also: the buzz around the psvr2 headset, and some if its games is what is making me consider a ps5. I tried Alyx on steam with a quest 2 headset, it was one of the most "wowing" experiences for me as a gamer. sadly the headset is not really good, and got "warm" very fast, so i don tuse it. I really hope this brings VR further, it can be truly amazing once the discomfort is removed.

If you're referring to your post, I agree.

It will be interesting how sales go with Zenith and No Mans Sky. Both are fun games to play in VR even though NMS isn't a native VR game.

Damn.  I hope Sony is at least cutting you guys a check for swooping in and defending them…I had the first psvr and it’s the best headache making machine I’ve ever owned.   It’s a super hard sell to make me pay more than the ps5 itself for the new one…

Well, i hope they are not relying on PSVR for selling consoles, or games for that matter. Kind of sad honestly.

I think its cool and all, it’s just every time I’ve used one, the tech wasn’t there yet. It might be great in 2023, but I’m gonna need a lot of convincing.

I don't actually own a PSVR system. I play on a Valve Index and HP Reverb G2. It can take a few uses to get your "VR legs" Some people are just prone to VR sickness and have a very hard time getting used to it. But it's worth it if you're an avid gamer.  There's really nothing like it.

I'd be interested to know when the last time you tried it and what you tried it with. The tech is pretty solid. Most headsets give a full 6DOF, have hand tracking and decent FoV. The SDE is virtually nonexistent as most headsets are UHD or 4k now. A lot of games actually support full haptic gear if you want to dump that much into it.

Everything past that point is game specific in terms of what is usable.
