Still a good game to play. I have enjoyed it as a PvE player!
I am very curious as I wish to do the same that is play it as a PvE player. What do you do in the game if you don't mind elaborating.
You could run dungeons, expeditions, hard core expeditions, build an island and place crops or even raise your own animals/beasts to sell, gather materials, craft and so on. There's plenty to do outside of PvP and you can also do non lethal forms of all PvP activities in the game.
Well that is something I would enjoy. So these crops that I place and animals I raise can other players steal or kill them? When I gather materials do I have to go out and risk getting killed by other players?

No one can get your crops or farm anaimals b/c you are in an instance area. You can build up your area with housing, farms, crafting spots, etc...... There are safe PvE zones where you can gather materials and kill mobs. Though, the better materials are in the PvP zones. I had fun doing "mad dashes" to get the crafting materials and getting back to PvE zones safely. It's really a FUN game and I enjoyed the art style. Every month you can build up points to earn a mount skin which are cool. The only down side of the game is there is a subscription for each character you make / play.

One of the few MMOs I would dare play these days. The art and design of the game is amazing and the game is really fun (they could do a better job on the outfits which are pretty ugly). But PvP is not for me anymore. If one day they add more PvE content and in such a way I can play only in gardening / fishing / mining without having to fight often something similar to the Weapon / Armor Craftsman, Tailor, Technician and Chef classes from the Angels Online game that only serve to create potions , armor, weapons and tools and move the market I will play with great pleasure.

Albion Online actually has good open world PVP system. Because it is fair and hardly punishing. You play in red/black zone, it comes with better rewards but it also comes with risk of getting killed. And when you do die, you lose what? tier 5 set, that hardly cost anything. And it is f#cking hard to die in red zone- You have escape ability, map shows how many enemies there are and the whole system incentives not to kill people in red zones. Best part is that that whole PVP part keeps the world exiting and not dull like you have in New World or Fallout 76. And even if you are bad at PVP, you can slowly grow into it. It is not like you lose the gear and then you can't get new gear because you get killed always in PVP. You can always make more than enough money in yellow zone. And then go again to Red zone if Yellow gets boring.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
