Im till shocked people still play this game, must be nostalgia. I have tried so many times to get into it but never make it passed the first few hours. I tried started a fresh character and even tried it with a level 80 character. The game just looks/feels horrible. I would for sure be interested if they update the graphics

Crazy post. Personally I think the games looks have held up very well and newer areas look great.

Everything mechanically with the game is so polished too.

Good to see them putting more love into WvW, which is seriously under rated content, that is surprisingly active after all these years, with queues to get into EBG still for most servers too.

I think similarly, but I don't think it's the graphics that look bad. It's the art style.

The UI that looks like an oil painting is very ugly, disorienting and unappealing, same goes for the world map. Then you have the game's world, the art style, the architecture, the time period, the classes, how they look and the weapons/armors.

All of that looks really ridiculous to me. It's like Retail WoW on steroids, like Retail WoW doesn't look f*cking ridiculously idiotic and cringeworthy already, GW2 somehow takes it to a new level. GW1 for a change looks much better, has better graphics, better UI, better art style, except it's not really an MMORPG. But it simply looks better and more appealing.

I've also tried to get into the game, but I simply can't after a few hours, I never really care what a game looks like, because the gameplay is what is important, but for GW2, it just looks so uninspiring that I could not bring myself to play it anymore.

Not saying that it's a bad game, but I really don't see the appeal.

How do you have nostalgia for something you've been playing for 10 years? That just objectively isn't how nostalgia works.

Now am I nostalgic for Guild Wars 1, a completely different masterpiece of a game that I am not currently playing? Yes. Would I buy a remaster of that game? YES.
