Labeling "fact" doesn't it make it so. Facts don't occur with the word "most". Facts are a 100% truth. the term, "overworked" is completely subjective.
Good for them even though they tried just a little bit too hard to come up with catchy initials

Fact. To keep a job that has a massive pool of people aspiring towards, you have to be A- Insanely Good. B- Work Harder than the next guy or C- Both A and B. Having a union doesn't change the fact that for every professional game designer, there are hundreds aspiring and talented waiting in the wings. It just adds a barrier to entry by preventing companies from getting rid of workers who aren't as good or hardworking as the guy knocking on the door with CV in hand. Or better yet, fresh cycling talent in conjunction with production cycles.

Good for them. Tech workers in general are overworked and underpaid and treated like a disposable resource. No one in any job at any level should be treated like that in my opinion. Unions aren't a panacea, but they do help the under-represented portion of the workforce have a voice at the bargaining table.
It's fine. Their jobs will be replaced soon by AI generated art, graphics, coding and writing. Hell, even voice acting as recent addons have proven.
And no, I'm not kidding. The quality of AI generated content is an exponential growth.
This is true too in my opinion, and not just tech work. I think we will see a shift in how tech work happens. We'll see positions for building, training, maintaining, and providing direct support using AI open up. Traditional jobs will start to incorporate using AI to resolve tasks and that will be an in demand skill set.
